The #1 most anabolic food are Herring Fillets. They are insanely anabolic and pack the most natural creatine out of any food. Anybody here eat herring fillets? I couldn't even take a bite I had to spit it out! very nasty stuff! Props to anybody who can stomach herring fillets. They come in a tin can similar to tuna and usually are in a type of sauce. very nasty! I nearly threw-up just taking a small bite. I know alot of bodybuilders eat salmon , talapia and that orange roughy but I never here about them eating herring fillets. Def the #1 most anabolic food. I cannot stomach any fish. reminds me of some bad dates that I regret.

Lol-you ball breakers,you have to preload this potent fish! Yes they have little bones throughout the fillet(very nasty stuff). The creatine is just natural creatine like you would get from ribeye but it is just loaded with more natural creatine. I believe you get about 2 grams of natural creatine per herring fillet. natural creatine is way better then the creatine you drink. The absorption is better so it actually works way better then any powder.

No not joking at all. Herring is the most anabolic food you can eat. It packs more natural creatine then any food. If you can stomach it eat it! no joke! I would eat it if i could stomach it.

I don't know, on the whole if you were limited to one food I would say wild caught oily fish like salmon, mackerel, eel, herring etc. would be the best choice. High in protein, high in all types of fat (esp. omega-3), very high in vitamin D (benefits male reproductive hormones among other things) and also has benefits for cardiovascular health, blood pressure and joint inflammation. Its much in higher in calories per portion compared with chicken, turkey and good cuts of beef. And if you eat it regularly you don't need to supplement with omega-3's.

Eggs would be up there though (especially for versatility) but you have to be careful about where your eggs are coming from. Those eggs with the very pale yolk contain far less nutrients.

Nope I don"t even think eggs are in the top 10 of anabolic foods. were not talking about protein.It is how anabolic the food is. Grapefruits are super anabolic,broccoli and spinach are super anabolic,eggs are great source of protein but not even in the top -10. Plain Yogurt is more anabolic then eggs.

Generally go for organic if you can (but you can caught out doing this too because of false advertising and general skullduggery on behalf of the producers).

Free range alone might not be any better than normal eggs either, as to qualify your eggs as "free range" all you have to do is use battery hens but just expose them to a period of natural light each day. "Free range" hens can also be fed the same chemical and GMO crap as battery hens.

Your best approach if possible would be to buy from a farmers market or directly from a farmer. You'll know a good egg by the yolk - it should be  much more of an orange colour. But even this is not a certainty as you will now get producers feeding their hens colour additives to get that look.

All this might seem a bit over the top but the fact is that a hen produces an egg from the resources and nutrients it gets in its diet. If its diet is hormones, chemicals and cheap GMO crops, then that's what you get in the egg. If however, its diet consists of natural greens and insects as it should, you get an egg yolk full of anti-oxidants and omega-3's.

It was actually a joke post but thanks for the detailed explanation, Im still going to have to buy the eggs to check the yolk, shops tend to frown on you breaking them beforehand.

Eggs are anabolic when you eat whole eggs but most bodybuilders only eat the egg whites thinking they will get fat which is so stupid cause science has proven that eating the yolks is good when you are dieting also.

why fuck herring? if you are taking anabolic steroids herring would be something you want to throw in your diet. I am not talking about foods that are great protein sources these foods are the most anabolic by nature. You of course still want to eat your eggs and your white or brown rice but if your looking for a very potent anabolic food herring takes the cake! prove me wrong! What is the most anabolic food then? Nothing packs as much natural creatine then herring fillets. The creatine Monohydrate,the CEE, those are not going to work like getting creatine from a food source wich is hard to get from foods. Herring packs 2mg of creatine that will absorb and it has great fatty acids and omega oils. Herring fillets are def beneficial for everybody natural and guys on steroids. Since you take steroids your already in a real anabolic state so that herring will work real well for you if you toss it in your diet.

The only other food I can think of that packs some natural creatine in a good amount is a ribeye steak but it does not even pack half the amount of natural creatine opposed to herring fillets and you don;t really want to eat too much red meat. I think red meat is great and alot of nutritionist try to steer their clients away from red meat wich makes no sense to me. The most anabolic food is... CHEESE!!! Seriously, as soon as I start eating lots of it, I can see mass adding up on me and gaining lbs every week. Of course it wont be muscle only tho. I guess its because of all the protein and fat combo+ the way it slows down digestion of everything you eat, so your body have time to absorb all the nutrients from your food.

I can't stand the shit either.I hate seafood. But I am not joking herring fillets pack the most natural creatine and is the most anabolic food there is. everyone thinks it is eggs but not true. eggs might be the best protein source but as far as protein,natural creatine and healthy fats and oils herring takes the cake!
