Agreed. It felt rather gimmicky to me as well, ...and the ending was rather weak. I had actually been hoping to see confetti come flying out the other end. Even if he had just left it pulling it from the wooden cage all full of holes, he could have stated something to the effect that "it looks like it's still in the same condition as before he started shooting it" he could have gotten the point across that there's something very wrong without the anti-climax of full sheets coming out of the wood chipper. Very disappointing. :'(

LOL, oh I think that might be too graphic a concept. Perhaps he could have used it to line a bird cage, or a pet litter box? He could make the same point without sitting on a commode himself.
