Take a fairly young but good pro bodybuilder.
Do a couple contests as usual.
Take a year or so off.
Come back but don't use insulin or mega dose gh and whatever causes today's guts and shit pro physiques.
Essentially looking like an early 90s pro via doing whatever they did.
Get on stage and compete in this show.
I bet he would not do well but for sure would make a statement and get people talking. Does anyone have the guts to do this?

Modern bodybuilding is about size.
Megadosing of both steroids and insulin give you size.
Along with that insulin, growth hormone megadosing must be present in order to have conditioned mass.
Megadosing gh will give you a gut.
So no, hypotheticaly, you cannot have modern pro size and still hit vacuum poses left and right.
And of course... megamoney is required for all the above.

I posit that a Sergio clone / ie 1/100000000 genetics/ working class/ great work ethic could come along and even without chemical excess destroy all regional competition, win the Nationals or USA or both and get a good hard look at Pro shows. Wouldn't lack mass noticiably and would have much smaller waist/hips, silhouette would look much better. Conceivably could affect future judging. Lacking huge ass/glutes the current judges probably wont go that way though.
