Btw, becoming a Mason means that you're getting connected. On a very small scale but connected nonetheless.

Homoerotic boundary breakers - they would make great Masons... but I have no idea if they really were part of the craft. Due to their "evolving" influence on society a 33rd degree would be appropriate.

Well, here in France, they're not even hiding any more. Once you get to a certain level, it's out there. And to go up the ladder a bit or a lot more, you have to get in or it's way more complicated.

They're totally taking advantage of people's apathy - the more obvious it gets the less it's reality is acknowledged. Also there's a huge crowd of imposters among them - the apron wearing "laughingstock" of Masonry... more like well meaning feel good Masons.
Higher levels are pricey and the interesting stuff is exclusive to a well connected society.
Phlex Dealer, given the photo is legit, is most likely member of a Prince Hall Lodge - would be interesting if he surpassed level 3 and, like Rich Plantanamo Gay, left humaity behind.

My Father was one but i never joined. I did go up a lot and drink in their Bar as they all knew me. They did not like Catholics... ;D still got my fathers ring he wore and they all got a Penny coin with on it "a Penny for every Man"
