But looking at this pic, Jay almost looks better. And This is one of Ronnie's best poses. I think Ronnie had too much friggin muscle in 2003

Ronnue did not look good in 03. He won because
a . competition wasnt that good
and
B. He displayed the most halfway conditioned muscle of any olympian in history

Agree... Coleman was a monster, but his 2003's version is vastly overrated, he looked better in other years... Still his most freakiest obviously...

How come I get impressed seeing Jay and Ronnie there but when looking at Phil Heath and Kai Greene I feel nothing?
Strong No homo

Ronnie was better... but Dorian was betterer.

Because Ronnie and Jay have less structural flaws and more muscle.

Coleman especially... Cutler never impressed me (except maybe in the BFTO 1999), a short guy with a waist almost as wide as his shoulders, with mediocre muscle bellies in the upper body... Heath is a joke, narrow as fuck with midsection wider than his pecs, and blocky lower body... Between these two i overall prefer Kai Greene, Coleman is from another planet compared to all them...

Dexter > Phil / Kai

I think that Jay should've never tried to become Ronnie. Or anyone else. Jay should not have played the "excessive" size game.
Obviously Jay is a bigger guy. But he lost his way chasing Ronnie.
I liked the way that he looked back in 1999-2003

Jay looks really good there.

Jay was a very solid runner-up in 2003

Going by those pics you would think Jay is the winner...

looks a lot closer than everyone said... cant judge by a couple pics, have to see it live or in video.... a lot of dorians wins looked a lot closer in pics than they did in person

It's only from this angle, though. Once you see the front shots, then it's apparent.

And afterwards Jay himself admitted that Ronnie had crushed him
Jay was 35-40lbs smaller than Ronnie.

Thing is that "only" after 3 years from 2003 O Ronnie was broken with injuries. If he trained smarter.......
