And the other part of your question doesn't seem to lead itself to a simple answer, at least one that my feeble mind can conceive. If it was me, as a layman, I'd split it into looking at the Economics of Markets, the Economics of Organization, and then how they commingle, and then it's effects on various theories, etc....

It falls under Master's level schooling here in the states.
