Phil Heath can do that.

I mean what the ball did, fit through a hoop.

Cool but kind of deceiving. He didn't totally fake that guy out. He faked him a tad then the dude realized Kerr was open so he better stay on him.

Jordan gets shit on for not being much of a baseball player.

He hit .202 in 127 games of AA ball, playing at age 31 for the first time in probably 15 years.

How many getbiggers other than flinstones could do this?

I love this low, court side angle.  It really gives you a better appreciation of the player's abilities that the standard tv view.  This comes from the The Michael Jordan Imax film.  You can buy the bluray cheap and if you have any appreciation for the sport of basketball I suggest you do it.  In this day of fuzzy youtube highlights, being able to see MJ work up close and in HD is a fucking privilege.  I have this in my collection and I just watched it again on Monday.

If I want to see black men run around excitedly, I'd give away fried chicken.

But yes, I agree with you.

awesome.

the bump created space for the fade away. that whole shot from the tap with the shoulder, getting the defenders centre of gravity off just enough that he couldn't recover in time to defend and the way he just hangs in the air while he makes his shot is nothing short of a artistic display of what made him Michael Jordan.

hahaha I was so busy watching what he was doing w the defender I totally missed the fake that bought him more space. how good was he. seriously.

double dribble?

MJ was able to get away with this all the time.  A dribble or two when he got it... pause to look around, then just take another few and nobody said anything.  MJ made everyone millions and millions of dollars... same way Arnold gets a better movie trailer, same way Bill Gates doesn't have to wait in line to get into conventions, same way Jay-Z sits wherever he wants in the club.
