The paraplegic lifters are quite impressive. One of the strongest raw benchers in the world happens to be one of them. They basically all bench very similar to a flat back bencher "duh" but without the bit of stability the legs give. For obvious reasons though, the pound for pound formula is a little twisted with them due to the fact they basically lack any leg development which even if someone never trained their legs would be much more. Props to them though for being able to compete at a high level in a strength based sport without the use of their legs and proving that you don't need strong legs to have a good bench. :)

1.He supposedly has limited use of his legs. Kind of disappointing considering many of the others have no use at all. I don't know exactly what makes you qualify or not.
2. Yes actually he is checking him for any hidden supportive equipment.
