Shouldn't this be in your special ed thread, anabol?

First off, renal transplants are a life saving operation and are given slightly more medical concern than your vanity.

Secondly, if you transplanted a scalp of hair you would have a massive scar all the way around the hairline so it would be aesthetically non-viable. Thirdly, any living tissue transplanted from one individual to another (unless it doesn't require a blood supply such as human corneas) is susceptible to immune-mediated destruction. People who receive kidney transplants have to go on lifelong immunosuppressive therapy which comes with a slew of side effects (such as lymphoma!) in order to prevent the aforementioned.

Tissue rejection is the reason.   When you receive a transplanted kidney you are placed on anti-rejection drugs.  Using such strong drugs for a transplant isnt considered medically ethical.

It can be done but you would have to take immune suppressant medication for the rest of your life

Im not sure any doctor would perform the procedure.  Maybe somewhere in Asia but you might end up with monkey hair on your head.
