That's what I don't get. Mike and others (fans) say he should've won but the guy didn't even crack the top 3. Hell, he came in 5th. Bless his soul but he didn't have it that particular day to win. It's funny to see him say 'bullshit' out to the crowd when handed his trophy. That can be seen on 1980 Mr. Olympia: The Lost Footage.

Ah, sorry I forgot that. The objective and fair judging at the Mr Os is always impeccable. Clearly, Mentzer deserved fifth, while the judges were right in handing it to Arnie rather than some guy like Dickerson. When I come to think of it, the judges have always been right in the IFBB competitions. To believe that the Weiders ever have tried to influence the judging surely is foolish. ;)
