Very poor form on triceps pressdowns (cable, not angled handle) will do this.

Age is correct. Most likely has painful shoulders and can't do any pressing movements, so pec atrophy.

Uhhhhh...

obviously the trainers are not here.

He was once extremely overweight. Classic look of one who dieted and worked hard, but too little too late.

Skin is saggy, age set in, tried some juice... did it wrong... on and on ~

Genetics are piss-poor, but at least he has tried. Looks better than a pig that's for sure.

We are falling for it, no doubt.

One of those dudes who can do the diet but should just keep it to a tank top in the gym and leave the glittery thonging for the younger blokes

All of the above. Elasticity of the skin is lesser in old age, even if keeping the body in fairly good shape since younger years.. Usually noticed around the pec/delt tie in and outer pecs, butt & lower abs first.. That's just nature telling you your getting older. That flat look is probably due to a too dried out condition.Metabolism also has a hand in all this.

Props for him anyway for still trying. Guy's who tend to do the higher set thing, too much unneeded cardio and too many days a week working out, as they age, tend to get that wrinkled flat look.  And even lose some muscle mass. Too bad, really.

There's an assumption that he's trying to compete with younger bodybuilders. Maybe he's just setting goals for himself to be the best he can be. At the  least he is no tub of lard like many folks, both old and young.
