Ronnie had one smaller lat and triceps, but I still think that he should have been winner that night. :-\ He got better during night show...
Would you give him his 9 Sandow's?

His 2006 off-season diet was shit. His precontest diet wasn't a huge improvement. Compared to what he did in 2003, he'd clearly started slacking off after getting used to winning every consecutive year.
Cutler was at his best ever in 2006. If he'd been off, Ronnie would've taken it. But Ronnie wasn't on and supposedly that was his heaviest shape ever. He'd lost all semblance of a waistline and his conditioning wasn't great. No, he'd run his course. Btw, I don't think the injuries were a factor at all. He had them in 2005 as well and won at a harder 285.
-
I had Cutler winning in 2006.
-
Should have won his 9th.
WoooSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH
-
Hell, I'd be ok if they gave it to Dex.
-
They gave it to Franco in 1981....
At least Franco was a real athlete .
And was respected as such on mainstream media.
WooSSHHHHHHHHHHH

Phil is so much better than Ronnie.
There, I said it.
-
waits for headswitching, tha'll show very clear who won!! :P

Nobody has the 'OMG holy shit' factor like Ronnie does, however even he has structural flaws:
Very small torso - looks oddly small compared to Jay.
He barely even has a 6-pack - looks like a 4-pack.
I actually think Jay has a better structure as far as torso goes.
However Jay has less development on that torso.
Calves, nonexistent.
Also, chest looks flat due to over development of andominals.
-
He was soft. Should still have won. Still looked better than cutler.
-
Jay's back made major improvements around this time.
When watching it I remember thinking RC was still a bit better overall though. Not his best form for sure.
-
Dexter looks like he beat both of them

2001 was the best cutler
2003 Arnold classic or was it 2002 was not too bad either
-
Well if you are going to talk could a would a shoulda...then Ron shouldaa lost in 2001. So 2006 would have been number 8

Phil is so much better than Ronnie.
There, I said it.
He surpassed Ronnie even at his first Olympia win when he was more well-developed already.
Phil is the greatest.
-
Very close. Ronnie bigger, Jay dryer.
Still a better love story than Twilight.

I disagree. His back in 2001 and 2006 are two different worlds.
2001 he was dry and big, but not as big as in 2006. Also, he had stiffer competition back then. Had he not sat out the 2002 Olympia like a moron, he'd have won it.
-
I hate to say it, but no, he fucked with the t-bar row :-\

In 2006 people were very tired of Ronnie's deteriorating physique and mostly his monster gut. The sudden loss of his lat was the final straw I believe. Mr O was judged mainly from the back in RLS and BDB and here he showed weakness.
He no longer looked better than Jay who came in complete with good conditioning + peak size for the show.

his condition at this show, and how he compared to everyone else did not matter. he was not going to win. the 'powers that be' in the ifbb were ok with him tying haney for the record number of Olympia wins, but they would not allow him to beat haney's total to become the all time Olympia title winner.
-
Yes, i would still give it to Coleman, why not? Yates won shows win torn bodyparts against far better competition... Cutler's back was at his best ever, for sure not him, altough big... Coleman still looked better and freaky in many poses, conditioning also looked better... Cutler was big, beating Coleman from the back (only this probably gave him the edge), but still a short fridge... Just my opinion... Dexter Jackson looking awesome and holding his own with the mass monsters...
-

^^THIS^^
Looks better than both Ron and Gutler. :(
