Title: Dr Jack Ramsay has died

John T. "Jack" Ramsay (born February 21, 1925) is an American former basketball coach, commonly known as "Dr. Jack" (as he holds an earned doctorate, see below). He is best known for coaching the Portland Trail Blazers to the 1977 NBA Title, and for his broadcasting work with the Indiana Pacers, the Miami Heat, and for ESPN TV and ESPN Radio. Ramsay is among the most respected coaches in NBA history[2] and a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

89 years old.  Died in his sleep.  Swam in the ocean every morning at 5am.  I remember watching the dude every night during NBA season, on the Sunshine network (very early 90s) with the Miami Heat coverage.  Dude seemed extremely old back then - and that was 20+ years ago.

RIP, Dr. Jack. He also coached Sixers and traded Wilt Chamberlin.

people look old by progressive malnutrition mainly due to eating meat, meat sponges out vitality of bone marrow and other organs

some people regenerate really well over time almost to a point where there is no net loss of youth
