Damn...I wonder after all this is through, that there will be new protocols put in place and new technology developed to help prevent another sad debacle as this

The air search has been called off because there would no longer be debris floating on the surface. The search will instead focus on an underwater search using radar and submersibles.

why use a stealth fighter jet to hide from radar when all you had to do is use a 777 and fly under 5k feet....LOL

Doesn't account for the maintenance pinging, though.

By this time it should have been checked on, too, so wonder why no follow up (and this guy says he did the size calculations, so i guess we just take his word for it)

NSA record all calls, texts etc worldwide under auspices of preventing terrorism and protecting citizens. Can't find plane with gps, black box and 300 people on board (with phones).
