London is by far my favorite city. I leave tomorrow for three weeks in Europe with the last seven days being in London. The mooslim population is growing fast there no doubt but (thankfully) I haven't seen any kind of violence due to them.

So he started it. But he never connected with the guy's face. So the other guy responds by pummeling him?
In America, the old man would be arrested for battery. No question about it.

You see this happening on the tube and some old pensioner (right or wrong) getting battered.
Do you intervene?
I don't care if the old guy did wrong but you just don't go beating up an old senile man in my opinion.
I would have been very tempted to teach the young fella a lesson there.

funny thing is if the old guy was a chick everyone would have piled in to defend her even if she started it

Probably taught the old boy a bit of a lesson but you'd have thought he would already have known at his age. The knee to the chops was a bit much though.

Don't get me started, I love this city, I've lived here 20 years.
But it has changed so much, so fast. (I am now a minority and I'm white British...)
I never travel on the tube, wouldn't dare, so your mad uTube clip (which btw, I'd not seen here) doesn't surprise me...
London is very multi cult. Sometimes difficult to keep up with, often scary and sad, but I love it because moreoften it's fabulous darlin', truly madly wonderful. Ya baby. Historic. It's magic. Provided you don't go down on the tube...
