An 18-year-old Indian student has died in the UK after apparently taking "lethal" body-building pills to help him lose weight.
Sarmad Alladin, son of a millionaire from Hyderabad, was taken to hospital hours after taking tablet which contained the drug DNP, which has been linked to several deaths.
According to a report in the Sun, the student known as Mr Muscles has died after apparently taking "lethal" body-building pills to help him lose weight.
Fitness fanatic Alladin was taken to hospital just hours after praising the fat-burning tablets called DNP on Facebook.
He had posted snaps of his new muscles online. He was living in university accommodation in Epsom, Surrey, while attending the specialist art and design university in nearby Farnham University.
A friend told The Sun: "He wasn't the type to put something like that into his body, so clearly they're misleading."
Last week, the university warned its students: "It has come to our attention that some very dangerous weight-loss and body-building drugs could be circulating among students. The drugs are potentially lethal."
Vice-chancellor Dr Simon Ofield-Kerr said: "As a university, we are devastated by the untimely and tragic passing of one of our students, Sarmad Alladin. Our sympathies are with his family and friends at this difficult time," the Daily Mail reported.
Officials told of suspicions the pills — full name dinitrophenol and linked to 60 deaths — were "circulating on campus".
In an alert to students, they asked the students to "stop using them immediately."
Alladin's family flew to the UK on Wednesday night from Hyderabad.
The drug DNP is sold mostly over the internet under a number of different names but contains 2, 4-Dinitrophenol.
At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained but there is nothing to suggest any third party involvement.

I can understand why competitive BB's would need to take these diuretics to get as shredded and dry as possible, but when you've just got some random moron using this stuff just to lose a few pounds which they could easily manage through diet alone, you realise that we are now living in a world where everyone wants a "quick fix" and where "hard work" is a totally alien concept.

And while her parents had thought she was over the worst of it, she had, in fact, been taking DNP for the previous 18 months.
Moral of the story: They don't know how to use them and they get sick or die.

Have you ever used thermogenic (prescription) fat-burners to lean down before a show? Or do you simply rely on diet, exercise, and gear?

You lost me with the prescription bit there, but I would use T3, Clen, thermo caps, we used to get ephedrine easily here but not at the moment.

If I had just said thermogenics and not qualified it with "prescription," it could've encompassed over-the-counters like Hydroxycut or Syntha 6. I don't know how Cytomel, Clenbuterol, and similar medication are regulated where you live, but in North America they're available by prescription-only (or buying it off someone, obviously). So I was referring to those.
So you do use them. Do you shoot for the lowest doses and use them right before the show or is it more than 4 weeks out? Does your appetite decrease?

I can answer that.
It's generally accepted Trey Brewer used it to drop about 70lbs for the 2008 NPC nationals. He lost a lot of mass compared to what he was at the 2006 Excalibur.

more than 4 weeks usually and I will take what I can handle, usually 75-100mcg T3, Clen build up a tolerance then 160-200 is tolerable otherwise 1 of the buggers is a nightmare lol
My appetite increases, especially from T3 but I enjoy that feeling knowing I am getting leaner. I dont eat more to compensate.

You have to be a retard to die from it. I ran up to 1g/day (averaging 800mg) for 17days. Knew the half life, knew to drink water, knew to take glycerol. Lost 6kg fat min and was peeled; after 4 months of dieting and cardio I felt like eating normal food. You suffer like hell on it. My mattress was ruined from the sweat, but if you take these chemicals, the epitome of the easy way, at least know how to take them.
One less retard in the world.

More like Mr Marshmallow. Most Indians I know are ectos as well (one in gym tonight had to be south of 40kg) so he was clearly taking it to compensate for eating like a fat girl. Some bird in Leeds died a year or so ago and the same storm in a teacup ensued.
Great thing is it isn't controlled by medicines board/similar authorities once it comes in powder form.

You will be extremely hot, craving food, generally not right physically or to a lesser extent mentally , feel like shit. Completely depletes glycogen....lose upto 1lbs per day, not all fat but very strong fat burner. Wont look your best or full while taking it.

Your come goes yellow. Everything does. You feel like death. Workouts shit, can't sleep, can't do anything. BUT... you lose so much fat regardless of diet. So fast.

:) U GOT IT,,basically ground down dynamite ,knew someone who used it and literally sweated sheets/clothes through nitely.and still came in semi-soft,was heavish type stocky build.
