Time for Obama to go to jail and penn station on the welfare and crack line where he belongs.
-
What happens when he doesn't? Will that be the end of your whining?
(No)
-
F otwink - he lied over the coffins of those people and then went to the UN and did the same thing. FNG Kenyan thug
-
I get why politicians do what they do, but it seems like at this point in Boehner's life he could stand up for the people that have loyally sent him to Washington for decades.
-
Libfags still in denial over Benghazi

These people still have to face their friends and family in the towns they came from. I just don't get why it doesn't bother them I guess.
-
they gotta have some "scandal" they can talk about on the campaign trail
the Repubs can't exactly talk about the legislation they passed or any ideas about how to do anything for anyone (except for the super rich of course) so they need something shiny to keep their idiot constituents occupied with

better save those tears for when this committee by Boehner goes nowhere

Really? You are not the least bit interested in the barrage of lies, and misinformation after Benghazi? Something was going on that was not for public consumption...........

I think the story is pretty much out there
The emails that were released this week basically reiterate was Susan Rice said and what Obama said (in regards to what Susan Rice said)
I think we know what happened, just as some Republicans have also said
I do think they need to keep some scandal brewing so that Repubs have something to talk about on the campaign trail.

God help me, ...but it might almost be worth it to see an Executive Order permitting Obama a 3rd term in office, just to witness the absolute meltdown 333386 would have if he ran for election and won AGAIN!!!
As much as that meltdown would be entertaining, I wouldn't wish for it, because the only way something like that would go through is if the USA was in the middle of either a 2nd Revolution, or a civil war, ...but it would be interesting to watch his head pop off. i'm reminded of one of those rock 'em sock 'em robots that was popular back in the 70's.
As an aside, I can't believe people actually thought those were appropriate toys for young children to play with,
...and people wonder why we live in such a violent aggressive society, or why nations are run by war mongerers?

This should be more of a concern for everyone, not a repub/dem thing. Americans died at the hands of terrorist and the spin machine was put into full force. I willing to bet there was some "arms" transfers going on and the situation went to shit. Witness's die and those that escape get a gag order put on them.

That last sentence, you dumbass. Proves you don't give a shit how this treasonist asshole runs this country but just how others react to your bad decisions for "voting" for this clown. I hope to God this goes to court, he and others are found guilty and get what they deserve which is the same fate the real Americans got. What a POS you are straw.
-
Word is Trey Goudy is recommended to head the committee. I sure as hell hope so.

how much are you willing to wager?
Nothing, I don't trust either party to tell the truth, all I can hope for I someone with inside knowledge comes forward.

this is where we see quotes from dems demanding UN inspections.
Then we got those, and they found zilch lol, and we don't see so many quotes after the inspections, before the war ;)
-
Really? You are not the least bit interested in the barrage of lies, and misinformation after Benghazi? Something was going on that was not for public consumption...........
Not really, there are far bigger fucking issues then this fuckind dead horse. How many troops die, what's the unemployment rate? etc.. this is a distraction, this is OVER.. just like that stupid fucking plane, report once or twice and move on, there are literally genocides occurring right now. Selective outrage is just what they want.
-
I think we should all take a victory lap now, confident that Obama will find himself behind prison bars within the year. It's the only possible outcome, and one that we should expect from Republican go-getters, judging my the lengthy jail sentences handed down following F&F, IRS scandal, Benghazi, etc...
-
Word is Trey Goudy is recommended to head the committee. I sure as hell hope so.
I have yet to see one of your fantasies come true, the birther stuff, Kenya, impeachment, his role in Benghazi, the IRS. you have literally been wrong on every single subject. Would you like to know why you are wrong, or why you keep coming up fail? it's because you don't or perhaps can't use the thing in your head to critically appraise things. You literally regurgitate right wing talking points, when confronted, you run and get divorced.

this will be like the 9/11 commission...LOL

you belong in a straight jacket in a padded room

Big Government and career politicians feeling the need to pass excessive legislation and "do anything for anyone" is actually the problem for the most part, not the solution. Government should take reasonable measures to protect the citizens from legit harm and fraud and do little else to interfere in our lives.

Obama finally going to prison where he belongs
MSNBC's Jonathan Banks reporting Obama's legal team is trying to plead to 11 months, limiting it only to jail. Twelve months or more and it becomes prison time. Issa has proven he's a man that gets results!

Yep. Nothing will happen.
Obama will finish his term and go on to 500K speaking engagements, then 5 or 6 years down the road the truth will come out, and no one will be punished, because no one will care anymore.

Graham: "Scumbags" in WH Lied About Benghazi
By Adam O'Neal - May 2, 2014
Sen. Lindsey Graham referred to Obama administration officials as “scumbags” and liars during a radio interview about the September 2012 Benghazi attacks.
“Our Democratic friends, for the most part, have been in the tank over Benghazi. They think it’s to get me re-elected,” asserted the South Carolina Republican, a foreign policy leader within the Senate GOP.
Click here to find out more!
“I mean, some guy said this about me yesterday on the left: The only reason I cared about this was because I have six Tea Party opponents. Well, if that’s true, I’m the biggest scumbag in America.” He added, “The scumbags are the people in the White House who lied about this.”
“It would be almost impossible for Lindsey Graham -- given who I am and what I’ve been doing for the last 20 years -- not to care about those in harm’s way, who get killed, and not go on to hold the administration accountable that lied about it.”
In the interview Graham had previously referred to an e-mail released Tuesday -- in which White House national security aide Ben Rhodes sends Benghazi talking points to other administration officials -- as a “smoking gun.” Graham asserted that the e-mails prove the White House avoided telling the truth for political expediency.
Graham joins a chorus of congressional Republicans who consider the e-mail damning evidence of the administration’s attempt to avoid calling the Benghazi incident, which claimed four American lives, a terrorist attack.

Kirsten Powers: Diverting Benghazi probe

"Diversion, subterfuge, Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi. ...Why aren't we talking about something else?" House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi complained last week.
Here's why: An e-mail has surfaced from a deputy national security adviser to Susan Rice on how to characterize the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on Sunday news programs. He advised Rice, then ambassador to the U.N., that her primary goal was to "underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of policy." The e-mail was redacted when the most-transparent-administration-in-history provided Benghazi documents to Congress earlier, but was found through a Freedom of Information Act request.
Democrats are furious that the House will hold a vote to create a select committee to investigate the administration's response to the attack in Libya that left four Americans dead. They know this won't end well.
Though White House officials say they were operating on the best intelligence available, they were willfully ignoring information that the attack was preplanned by groups with terrorist links, a fact that undermined President Obama's re-election claim that "al-Qaeda is on the run." Cherry-picking intelligence is a big no-no.
It took real effort for the White House to overlook the tsunami of evidence that contradicted its campaign talking points. Before Rice's appearances on Sept. 16, 2012, National Public Radio reported that Libya's president had told NPR that al-Qaeda was responsible for the "precalculated, preplanned attack." Former deputy CIA director Mike Morell testified last month, "Analysts said from the get-go that al-Qaeda was involved."
A former deputy chief of mission in Libya, Gregory Hicks, testified last year his "jaw dropped" when he watched Rice blame the video. Retired general Robert Lovell, on duty at U.S. Africa Command at the time, testified last week, "What we did know ... was that this was a hostile action … a terrorist attack." Last week, Fox News' Bret Baier asked former national security spokesman Tommy Vietor how the administration came up with its video tale. Vietor replied that there were "guys quoted in newspapers saying (the video is why) they were there." So much for operating on the best intelligence.
White House spokesman Jay Carney improbably claimed that the Rhodes advice was not "explicitly" about Benghazi but about protests throughout the Middle East. CNN's Jake Tapper called Carney's comments "dissembling, obfuscating and … insulting." He was being generous. Rice was dispatched to discuss Benghazi, which is why she was grilled about it on every show.
White House officials brought this House investigation on themselves. They could have avoided it by simply telling the truth. Unfortunately, that was too much to ask.

Boehner Stacks Benghazi Select Committee With Legal Powerhouses
Friday, 09 May 2014
By Sandy Fitzgerald
House Speaker John A. Boehner's selection of seven Republicans on a select committee to investigate the Benghazi attacks that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other diplomatic staff members in September 2012 reveals a mix of male and female lawmakers who bring a variety of experience and political power to the table.
The committee, which is being led by Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., includes Republican Reps. Susan Brooks, Indiana; Jim Jordan, Ohio; Mike Pompeo, Kansas; Martha Roby, Alabama; Peter Roskam, Illinois; and Lynn Westmoreland, Georgia, reports The Washington Post.
Boehner announced the committee earlier on Friday, including a message on Twitter inviting Americans to "meet your majority members."
Westmoreland, a building construction executive, is the only member of the committee who is not an attorney by trade.
Out of the group, four are fairly new lawmakers. Gowdy, Pompeo, and Roby were elected to the House during the Republicans' sweep in 2010, and Brooks is a freshman representative who was elected in 2012.
“This investigation is about getting answers for the families of the victims and for the American people,” Boehner said in a statement, reports The Hill.
“These members have each demonstrated a commitment to this goal, and I have confidence that they will lead a serious, fact-based inquiry. As I have expressed to each of them, I expect this committee to carry out an investigation worthy of the American lives lost in Benghazi.”
Gowdy, a former prosecutor with 16 years of prosecution experience, including six years on the federal level, has been pushing for further investigation into the Benghazi attacks since the a few days after they happened, saying last week that he has evidence of a "systematic, intentional" effort by the Obama administration to withhold documents from Congress about the 2012 Benghazi attacks that killed four Americans.
The tea party Republican is a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, reports The Post, and has been described as a key ally of committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif.
Gowdy also chairs a House Judiciary Committee subcommittee on immigration policy.
Brooks, the only freshman representative picked for the Benghazi committee, is also a former federal prosecutor, giving the panel a second member with investigative and prosecutorial experience. She is one of the two committee members who was not a member of four House committees — Armed Services, Foreign Affairs, Intelligence and Oversight — that have already investigated the Benghazi attacks since they occurred in 2012.
She was appointed as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana in 2001 by then-President George W. Bush, and is a former deputy mayor of Indianapolis.
Jordan is the former head of the Republican Study Committee, a caucus for conservative Republicans, and has served as a liaison for several top House GOP leaders. Like Gowdy, Jordan served on the Oversight Committee, which has already investigated the Benghazi attacks, The Post reports.
Pompeo, a retired captain from the U.S. Army, is the select committee's only military veteran. He also serves on the Intelligence Committee and has been mentioned as a possible chairman after Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., retires, although serving on the investigation may suggest that he won't be picked to head Intelligence, The Post speculated Friday.
Pompeo graduated first in his class from West Point in 1986 and and is the founder of Thayer Aerospace, where he served as CEO for more than a decade providing components for commercial and military aircraft before becoming president of Sentry International, an oilfield equipment manufacturing, distribution, and service company.
Roby is a former member of the Armed Services Committee and a prominent female spokesperson for the Republican Party. Prior to being elected to Congress, Roby worked as an attorney and served as a city councilman in her hometown of Montgomery.
She has already lead one investigation into the attacks as chairperson of the Armed Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, Roby led the investigation into the military’s preparation and response to the Benghazi terror attacks.
Roskam, as the House chief deputy whip, is the select committee's political link to Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, The Post reports. He is a senior member of the select committee, having been elected to the House in 2006, and since that time has become a mentor to the many newer Republican House members. Roskam, like Brooks, has not served on any of the other panels that have already investigated the attacks.
He practiced law in Illinois and represented Chicago's western suburbs in both the Illinois House of Representatives and Senate, where he served alongside then State-Senator Barack Obama, where they partnered to enact reforms to the state’s criminal justice system.
Westmoreland, who has been named as the deputy chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, is credited with leading led GOP redistricting efforts in the wake of the 2010 census that helping Republicans retain a large majority in the House.
He founded his own building company, L.A.W. Builders, and served in the Georgia State House for 12 years before coming to Washington.
He serves on the House Financial Services and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Benghazi: How to do the hearings right
By Charles Krauthammer, Published: May 8, 2014
The Democrats are portraying the not-yet-even-constituted House Select Committee on Benghazi as nothing but a partisan exercise. They are even considering boycotting the hearings to delegitimize them.
Fine. Although this would give the Obama-protective media a further reason to ignore Benghazi, it doesn’t matter. All that matters is whether the committee produces new, important facts. If it does, it will be impossible to ignore.
We’ve already seen what a single piece of new evidence can do in reviving interest in a story that many (including me) thought the administration had successfully stonewalled. The “PREP CALL with Susan [Rice]” e-mail from deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes was withheld eight months until revealed by court order. It advises the U.N. ambassador to focus on an anti-Islam Internet video, thus contradicting the perennial White House claim that Rice’s blame-the-video five-show fable came just from intelligence community talking points and not from a White House in full campaign mode.
The select committee will be headed by Rep. Trey Gowdy, a skilled 16-year prosecutor. He needs to keep the hearings clean and strictly fact-oriented. Questions only, no speechifying. Every sentence by every GOP committee member must end with a question mark. Should any committee Republican instead make a declarative statement ending in a period, the chairman should immediately, by button, deliver an electric shock through the violator’s seat.
The areas of inquiry are obvious. They are three: before, during and after.
Before:
Where and to what extent was there dereliction of duty as memos, urgent pleas and mounting evidence of danger were ignored and the U.S. ambassador was allowed to enter a deathtrap?
During:
What happened during the eight hours of the Benghazi attack, at the end of which the last two Americans (of four) were killed by mortar fire? Where was the commander in chief and where was the responsible Cabinet secretary, Hillary Clinton? What did they do?
The White House acts as if these are, alternatively, either state secrets or of no importance.
For President Obama, we have three data points. At 5 p.m. EDT, he is informed of the attack at a regular briefing with his secretary of defense and chairman of the Joint Chiefs.
At around 8 p.m., Obama spends an hour on the phone with Benjamin Netanyahu to tamp down a breaking, politically injurious story that Obama had snubbed the Israeli prime minister. The White House then issues a readout saying the two leaders had agreed there had been no snub.
So the White House is engaged in campaign damage control quite literally in the middle of the Benghazi events — at a time when Ambassador Chris Stevens is still missing and the final firefight that killed two other Americans is still three hours away. We’ve just learned that Obama was not in the Situation Room that night. Then where, doing what?
We know, finally, that at 10 p.m. Obama called Clinton — a call the White House, at first, had not reported — to get an update. What did they discuss, decide, order?
As former prosecutor Andrew McCarthy has pointed out, a half-hour later, State issued a statement deploring the video, setting the premise for the video excuse. Were Obama and Clinton working on a cover story — even before Glen Doherty had joined Tyrone Woods on the roof of the CIA annex where they were to die minutes later?
Yes, that’s speculation. Well, then, give us facts. After all, the White House provided a cascade of hagiographic facts about Obama’s involvement in the Osama bin Laden raid. Yet regarding Benghazi — the most serious operational challenge of his presidency, the 3 a.m. phone call Hillary Clinton had warned about in 2008 — he is nowhere to be seen.
After:
We now know the White House was pushing the “video made them do it” coverup, lest the blame be placed on administration policy. Who was involved in that decision, obviously designed to protect a president campaigning that al-Qaeda was “on the run”?
What difference does it make? The difference between truth and falsehood. The difference between a brazen stonewall that is exposed and one that succeeds.
Nonetheless, these hearings are a big political risk for Republicans. Going into the 2014 election, they stand to benefit from the major issues — Obamacare, the economy, chronic unemployment — from which Benghazi hearings can only distract. Worse, if botched like previous hearings on the matter, these hearings could backfire against the GOP, as did the 1998 Clinton impeachment proceedings. On purely partisan considerations, the hearings are not worth the political risk.
But the country deserves the truth. They’ll get it if the GOP can keep the proceedings clean, factual and dispassionate. No speeches. No grandstanding. Gowdy has got to be a tough disciplinarian — especially toward his own side of the aisle.

He is a punk and a libfag bitch along w his thug wife.
oh so he should have been notified of the attack previously?
what benefit would he have been? you want Obama making military decisions that quickly?
-
LOL
So he is the CinC, but should have no say?
No, he should not be involved in the planning etc. he should be given this information to make a decision with his staff. You guys act like he signs all the cheques, goes to every meeting etc.
He must obviously be involved, but I think you have a misconception about his involvement in wars, planning, strategy, he takes advice on these matters.

I have no misconception, the POTUS has the ability to put Americans in harms way. If his chain of command fails its his fault, he choose them. POTUS doesn't get the luxury of pointing fingers.

I agree he is ultimately responsible, no doubt, however, it's a bit of black and white thinking no? I mean on the battlefield the general makes the decisions, don't they still? this was a dynamic situation that when juxtaposed with other embassy attacks indicates nothing was done wrong. People dying sucks, but thats the job description at these embassies. They general in command stated that they could at best secure the airport in time but would have no way to transport them to the airport.
This needs to end, just another fucking waste of money, more tomfoolery. You guys are just looking to pin something on Obama, which unfortunately is a shitty situation. Some have even suggested he watched them die, like wtf? how many embassies where attacked under Bush? how many death? how many investigations? Zero.

Generals may make the decisions, still he appoints the JCOS, Sec of Defense. If they make shit decisions, then its POTUS fault he put them there.
There would be no investigation, but for the fact the Obama spin machine. Why all the misdirection? Why try to blame it on some obscure youtube video? I could be wrong but the embassy attacks under Bush were car bombs style attacks, no sustained engagements last 7 to 8 hours (Benghazi was a consulate not an Embassy).
1) C.I.F. assets, why weren't they sent in?
2)Who denied the assets? POTUS or AFRICOM cmrd?
3) Did Clinton ignore request for additional security?
Did the military really do all they could, or did they do all that they were allowed to do?

This is just more of giving the idiots something shiny, nothing is going to come of this except wasting millions
