he was eating 30 eggs peeling them one after the other
then went to the pub for enough steak to feed a family for a week
strong as fuck though like freaky strong
-
Does he have to be that fat? He can't be comfortable.
-
I remember seeing that show about him on a "hard bastard" type of programme, showed him training in the gym and his static strength was incredible.Well,he was the "daddy".

I think I saw that documentary...a very long time ago.
He also chucked out a little twink from a nightclub who came back with a small army of other twinks with shovels and hammers and nearly killed Glen.

open to correction but Gary Taylor only made a detour through Bodybuilding.
What do you mean by detour,he placed 2nd to Dorian in 1988 and 2nd to Ian Harrison in 1989 at the british champs, the guy was incredibly close to getting an IFBB pro card.

I mean he started out as a strength athlete tried his hand (or body?) at Bodybuilding (and was quiet successful) and then returned to strength sports.
-
When you talk about ultimate strength athletes,Gary has to be up there, medalist at olympic weightlifting, runner up to a 6 time Mr Olympia at bodybuilding and winner of the WSM.

He was originally an Olympic lifter. Won silver at the 84 LA Olympics.
I seem to remember he got busted for Clenbuterol use and banned by the weightlifting federation hence his switch to bodybuilding and then strongman.

Gary Taylor was one of my favorite strongmen.
