I was watching part of his new DVD the other day, he looks absolutely mammoth. It says he is 9 weeks out (of the O?) at one point and he looks so huge and cut already. Impressive. From the looks of it you'd think he would place higher.

Because his arms are at different angles.
Pay attention to that more - it accounts for a lot of so called poor symmetry in photos

Why is it that Dennis and some other BB's look their best when in the 'off-season' or whenever that pick was taken? He is huge, with some cuts and very filled-out. But what we see on stage is a totally different BB. He looks flat and smallish (it's a relative term in this case). What the hell happens? Why does he cut/lose so much?

An athlete should make fun of that pose.

part of the him looking so good in pics precontest is bc he is by himself. if he were next to ronnie or jay, things would be different.
he hasnt improved since turning pro. his back, legs, and arms are still weak. he has no outstanding bodyparts, maybe his shoulders. he's big and thick but never comes in hard or in good shape to crack a lineup (the ironman doestn count). when he comes in hard, he's too small.

If he was that big (as he looks in the alleged 'chopped' pic), it would be very uncomfortable. When I go above 270-275lbs, it becomes tough to even wipe your own ass, not to mention your thighs chaffing, sweating if it's above 65F, and not reaching parts of your body in the shower. I wish I were kidding. I don't know how the 300lb'ers do it!
