While I am pretty impressed with his ability to execute those reps, I am actually VERY impressed with the type of grip strength this guy has.
Holy Shit!

I prefer to do my pull ups on this machine its easier on the wrist and you can do weighted chins because of the angle.

I use a bar like that too. It hurts my shoulders a lot less than the standard grip. Otherwise I do palms up close grip chins or lat machine pulldowns.
And Marvin Eder was The Man. Very strong and all natural.

art atwood was not natural

No shit! Can anyone here even come close to hanging on a bar that long? I think I can do 2 minutes tops.
-
why not big lats
life is cruel

Great, I can now claim to curl 100lbs 200 times, by just letting the barbell hang down whenever my biceps are tired and continuing on when I feel my biceps have recovered. Even if it takes me 20 minutes to do the reps. :-\

Yup. Heavy squats is very taxing on the cardiovascular system. I know my heart rate goes up considerably when squatting heavy. I'll pause at the top every 4 or 5 reps to slow my heat rate down a bit. Some people find their lungs give out well before their thighs do.

Hard on the rotator cuffs when resting and twisting to the side. Had to have been doing this for years.
Can't imagine actually seeing someone fire off 80 like Jack Lalanne used to do with pushups and such.
Good back exercise that literally NOBODY ever does at the gym anymore.

Excellent feat of strength...What's just as impressive is the guy is close to 20% bodyfat...
