Title: Cardio training and it's downsides. The loss of painstakingly stored calories.
Post by: Rami on May 29, 2014, 02:00:16 PM
I just realized this. The planing, purchasing, carrying, cooking, hours spent eating to store any kind of useful, spontaneously available calories on your body. This whole process becomes a much larger task when you include cardio to your training. Especially when you don't really care for spending a lot of your time having to eat.

The effortless routines that has been established over time of what, how much and when to eat will shatter once you add on cardio. It seems like I have to add an extra meal, at least.

Good thing it's an enjoyable experience, especially outside in the summer or I probably wouldn't bother. Maybe a few short cardio sessions at the gym here and there is all I would normally do. Or just take a walk.

To run always seems to induce enormous calorie requirements for me. Even walking far. I have tried to explain this by wondering if I have an inefficient running style where I use lots of muscle. It the only explanation plausible.

Look at long distant runners, they run gingerly, quick steps, and set in a slightly slumped over posture, while I prefer to run like a barrel chested barbarian. This must be reason for my calorie requirements.

It's troubling.

Yes I could probably post some updated pics. But I don't think I'm that much different.

It's that damn calorie requirements again.

Before you go to bed place a stick of butter into your colon. During the night your body will absorb the required calories.

Running is good for your health and if you are involved in combat sports you better do some heavy duty cardio or you will gas.  If you're a bodybuilder what do care about running? Just walk on a treadmill like most bodybuilders.
