Which novel is this from? Where are the Sith and SuperStar Destroyers? This looks like some Rated PG Road Warrior BS. Thanks Disney.

From the link:
According to reports, producers have made a deliberate move to use less CGI and are relying on practical effects like in the original trilogy

If you glimpsed just a snippet of any SW movie, you'd see a bunch of dilapidated, worn-out or just plain primitive-looking shit in "boring" desert, ice or forest locations.
Watch the entire flicks, and you'll see a whole smattering of locales, complete with lots of action, explosions, light sabers, Sith lightning, etc. (and I'm just thinking about the OT here).
Abrams' new movie will be a visual spectacle if nothing else. And the plot and acting will definitely be superior to Lucas' limp-dicked "prequel" efforts.

I hope its more Abrams than Disney. Disney is thinking theme rides, toys sales and admission to DisneyLand. Abrams is thinking legacy. Who wins out?
