I dont see why everyone would be so upset he is that good, when you see him in person on stage it really is in a class of his own.. Its not his fault he was born 20 years to late to compete in the 90's

Because no one is better than Heath. IMO only person that can beat Heath is Heath. If he comes in 100%, no one can beat him. Not Kai. Not Ramy. Nobody.

I know what you mean but considering who Cutler lost to and how he regained his title, his multiple second places I would think Phil needs a fifth one to pass him on paper.
If your argument is about winning Olympia %%s then he would also be ahead of Coleman since Coleman lost so many times.

You do know that the judges panel is alledgedly always Lee Thompson, personal friend of Heath and Branch I believe, and Steve Whineburger who is expert schmoe and super influential.
Apparently they never change the judging constellation?? Imagine having the same judge every year in the world cup of soccer.
And apparently the judges hang out with competitors before the show and also are allowed to discuss their judging in real time openly with each other. So imagine how many new judges dares to cross Steve and Lee.. Lol!
And to top it off, the judges rarely show themselves or explain their decision. Maybe Lee does sometimes but it sure as hell is hard to find out who the judges are in each show.
Maybe, if one is dissatisfied with the way modern bb is.. Start looking at the judges. No one really questions them because the industry has got an iron grip of everyone, except maybe getbig

Don't see the issue. He's the best of the bunch currently and has been for years.
It may be a bad bunch compared to what we've seen in the past, but he's still the best out of it.
Athletes in other sports often dominate a weak era but can only beat whats in front of them.

Argument is total Olympia titles with the tiebreaker being winning %. For example, in this scenario Haney would still be #1 cause he has 8 titles along with Coleman, but a better Olympia winning %. In this fashion the top 5 would look like this.
1.Haney
2.Coleman
3.Arnold
4.Yates
5.Heath(if he wins)
Heath would have to win 9 Olympia titles cause Haney has a better winning percentage. This is a basic statistical argument based on Olympia winning alone.

I think he's very average. He's wining now because the sport is at an all time low as far as quality physiques. Heath has great arms and a great back. Even his arms lose alot of their impressiveness when he raises them above shoulder level. His chest is a joke, his abs are wierd, he is so narrow it affects his whole look and his legs are par for anyone else in the top 10. I don't get it.
Maybe you do have to see Heath in person to "get" him ???

Heath is a deserved winner for now, but it's amazing that someone with such structural weakness is winning Olympia's.

In numbers yes, no one can dispute that... Has he an amazing timeless physique comparable to some legends of the past? In my opinion no, not even close... Good arms and shoulders, detailed back, good conditioning, that's it... There are many bodybuilders that never won the big one or even the ASC that are far superior, in my opinion...

True, but it seems that people want Ronnie Coleman back...or at least someone as dominant and genetically gifted as him, with his work ethic. There are many ways to become champ, and Phil has found his winning formula.
