Are you open about your hobby with your fiends and family? How they react? What about your kids, how they see it? ;D
I mean , it must be hard for average person to understand why a grown man would watch other men in thongs, follow random dudes on internet forum, visit contests etc.
How do people around you react?
I have to be honest that I dont share this a lot with my surroundings, peole just dont understand. Close family knows and thats it.

Pretty much everyone I know knows but I'm not a schmoe about it, only thing I ever follow anymore is the O and I don't even stay up for the web cast.
Son is into wrestling and that has a lot of thong warriors, they just don't hitch it up the ass cheeks.

Follow for most of us involves being disparaging about most of the physiques for 11 months, getting excited by the prospect of someone breaking through (Wolf, Ramy, Rhoden) followed by a shitty showing in the contest by all bar Phil and maybe 1 random person, followed by "I knew it was going to be shit, fuck this sport".

I don't follow bodybuilding, but I have a friend who's a real skinny kid and couldn't even make the football team because he's too skinny. Then he started to buy Muscle Magazine. He buys up all the old muscle books. He reads them for hours. Every morning, I find his light on, and he's reading the muscle books. We're starting to think he's a closet homosexual.

BBing is unique to the extent that what you do on the day is a result of months of manipulation not what you do v other competitors. Most people don't get that, or that you can be straight and judge people by their physique in thongs.

I don't follow bbing.
I couldn't tell you who finished second at the Olympia last year. nor do I care.
I go to the gym cause I love to train. I think bbing itself is a gayish pursuit full of insecure males desperate for the praise of other males.
and in that there is something very very weird.
I'm the bbing antithesis. I look like a bber. but anyone who knows me will tell you I'm the furthest thing from.
edit: there are exceptions to what I said. chiro and Wes come to mind. they are cool dudes who compete. very rare cause in my experience most hardcore bbers are insecure weirdos.

In Austria they don't know any Bodybuilders except Arnold and he is a national hero here.
So therefore its even mandatory in school.
Austrians think of "Success , Action movies, dedication , hard training and Politics when they hear Bb. They even name Soccer stadiums after Bbs and there homes become historical museums . Im not shitting you.
Also they believe competitive "Bodybuilding died in 1980,when Arnold retired".
So ass long as you look like a Bb there is no reason to be ashamed of being one. But that's Austria.!
