Title: Yeah buddy vs Yeah baby
Post by: Bluto on January 26, 2006, 01:19:56 PM
I think we need to discuss if Ronnie says Yeah buddy and Yeah baby, or just Yeah buddy alone. And if he says both, which one does he say the most, and why?

I also want to discuss why Troy Alves trainingpartner with rastahair says "dog" all the time in Battle for Olympia 2003 and why he, along with Troy all of a sudden appears with his shirt off at the end of the video.

Thanks for helping me clearing this out.

This is indeed a very interesting question and many philosophers have been debating for years but without reaching an unanimous conclusion.
I think he states "Yeah buddy!" when he's interacting with his spotter and training partner because he is his buddy.
He claims "Yeah baby!" when he has Alti on his mind and he dedicates to her a massive lift.
He says sometimes "Lightweight baby" but never "Lightweight buddy"...
Anybody knows why?

Hulkster, I noticed that recently you are overdoing your sexual comments on Ronnie.
Probably too many debates with MD caused you to jump to the other side? You have no chance with Ronnie, he likes pussy, so stop dreaming...

I will in great detail go through his videos later today and try to find the answers we are seeking.
You might be on to something though.

Funny you mention this... the grunts seem to be more prolific when I'm on a cycle.  I have the benchpress grunt which sort of sounds like the Lou Ferrigno from the Incredible Hulk T.V. show

I have the squat/leg press grunt which is more mixture of a man getting raped crossed with that stupid f'ing sound people make when they run or lift weights like the wind is blowing.......whiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiisshhhh, whiiiiiishhhh.

and finally when I pose I like the Jay Cutler.......EEEEEEEEEEE EEEYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAA, EEEEYYYYYYYAAAA, Whiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssshh hhhh.  How's that? ;D

I believe i have the answer if baby refers to alti and buddy to his training partner then the logical conclusion to draw is that he is explaining that alti is lighter than his training partner

This is a very good point. Excellent interpretation of Ronnie's concise but deep sentences!  ;D
