Title: English Birmingham knowing people
Post by: Darren Avey on July 15, 2014, 12:40:10 PM: I went to Liverpool yesterday and flew down the M42 ignoring the stupid "variable speed limit" ::) signs. Now some ones told me theres cameras in the gantry things. Is this true? I was bombing it. As the sooner i could get to Liverpool the better.

yes generally there are speed camera's in the overhead gantry's.

They operate as the normal speed camera's do, When the speed
limit is flashing in the signs.
You would get the double flash going off if it was switched on.

Dorian Yates is from there and they've one of the funniest accents in England. There's a boat show there every year. That's all I know.

they operate when the variable speed limit is active

they are set at 12 mph over the limit
