HELP!
Due to one of my dogs getting into something unknown and the subsequent barf cleanup, I have dozens of grease type stains all over the driveway. Could've been some type of cooking oil, bacon grease, suet... So far I've tried foot grinding in kitty litter, scrubbing with Dawn, Oil Dri, all followed up with a power washer. So far nothing it touching it. Trying to be as least caustic as possible. It's a HUGE area of spots (?~300-400 sq ft). Next step might be this stuff from Quikcrete

and as a last step, maybe muriatic acid. Any suggestions?

I had good luck with concrete cleaner and a wire brush, you're going to have to get on your knees and hands though. ;D

I can't think of anything, but maybe you should consider staining it all a color? Some of these look pretty nice.

That and Chaos' suggestion are both good.
You could also try oven cleaner spray (NOT the fume-free kind, which is a lie anyhow: it has noxious fumes, too! :D). Easy-Off will literally strip the paint off of a battleship's hull. I'm not kidding, because I've seen it done :) (Yes, of course, I tried to suck it off through a garden hose because I just enjoy sucking so much -- no homo, naturally.)
Eh, where's that strike-through feature when I need it. Ah! There it is. I just painted myself into a corner and can't think of a good way to use it for that parenthetical comment :|
But jokes aside, Easy-Off will pretty much clean anything.

Simple Green or a good laundry detergent on the light end. Apply, scrub, let sit, crub then power wash. Carb or oven cleaner is harsher, but it will usually do a half way decent job.

I'm kinda diggin' that idea, however, wondering if it would penetrate the spots since everything so far is being repelled. Do you think something like that would survive ugly winters?

Dawn Liquid Soap - Dump a bunch of bottles on the spots, let is soak, scrub the spots a little to make sure the stain came out. If it's out, just powerwash the mess away.
I use it for when we have fuel spills on concrete. Works well.
Just pour it on straight? The blue Dawn was what I tried first, but semi diluted and scrubbed in, then power washed. It maybe helped ever so slightly. Damn. Simple Simon will be able to eat off the driveway by the time I'm through. ;D

I dont know the name off hand but you can grt it at home depot comes in a black gallon jug with white lettering only aboit five dollars works for all oil type stains. Best stuff ever.beats purple magic or simple green.never had a oil stain it didnt dissolve away..

it's used all the time for oil spills even rust stains your blowing money not using this first

use oven cleaner then use a brush then brush (push broom the fuck out of it) your concrete then hose it down with water problem solved

My input is that gf cleans smell of my piss off concrete outside house with bleach and hot water, she said the liquid soap thing should work.

buy a car and park it over the blemish.

You could always do a light skim coat of concrete and then sand and blend to match the surrounding area.

Better make sure you water it down or you will lose the fine concrete paste at the upper layer of the driveway.
