For anyone over 40, what advice do you have for the 20-somethings to save them trial and error? (bodybuilding related and not)
I'm almost 44. Best advice I can give is consistency. I've had my best gains when I've strung a few solid months of training together. You stop for whatever reason, and you have to start all over again to some degree. Don't stop pushing yourself and stay consistent in your training.

Give me some money oriented advices. thx bros :)

As a nearly 70 year old, I agree with you on the consistency theory. I don't agree that when you take time off, you go back to grown zero though. It has been my experience that I quickly regained anything I lost during "vacations" from lifting. At some point you have to rethink what it means to push yourself. There is only so much weight one can lift and only so many reps one can do.

Live below your means and begin stashing money away at a young age. Forget about what other people do and stick to your plan because if you keep up with the Joneses you'll wind up broke or over leveraged like them. Learn about investing and never stop studying it.

Not 40 yet, but my lesson: don't waste your first 35 years getting as fat as a whale, getting that excess fat off again is hard!
And another: let your hobby/sport be your hobby. If you turn it into work, and see it as a chore, you no longer have a hobby.

money advice?
being married/ kids etc is expensive
you have to take calculated risks to make real money
you have to accept some failures to have overall successes
you have to find something you like and are good at and do it better then the others doing it.

We've been over this already Prime, you can't really do the "no you're gay" thing when you've posted about having another mans cock in your mouth.

Are you implying Mause's whimpering was the result of accepting massive cock, combined with feeling betrayed by daddy?

My lifting life lessen is to lift heavy and often. Full range of motion. Use foundation lifts...squats, heavy rows, incline bench, weighted dips and chins. Do an arm blast once a week. If you have done your foundation work properly you have already hit arms.
Health advise is get blood workup twice a year minimum and pay attention to results. Stay out of the sun if you are light skinned. Do not smoke and drink alcohol modestly if at all. Have fun and play sports. Walk all you can.
Diet advise is eat natural foods...lots of protein and save your spare money to invest in your 401K if you have one...not supplements. Fact is that gear is cheaper than than the hyped supplements. If you do not plan to compete stay away from gear. Whats the point? Stay hydrated.
Hard to believe but married men live longer.
Financial. Look for foreclosed property that you can fix up and sell or rent. Someone else's bad fortune is your good fortune. Borrow from family if you must to get started. When I was young I blew the chance at picking up the house next door for about 100K. 20 years later today its one million.
Our society is splitting in half...haves and have-nots. Be a have no matter what it takes. Always be honest in your dealings.
Think with your head (the one on top of your shoulders) not your heart. That's tough when you are young.

i tell them to do all that they want, it doesnt really matters what they do, it always end the same

Spoken like a young person. Most folks in their 20's and 30's can't imagine themselves ever getting to 70 years of age even though the life expectancy for males in the U.S. is 77.6 years. My grandfather, who had a heart condition, lived to be 80 something. It is more and more common to find people living into their 90's today. Arnold Schwarzenegger is almost 70 years old. Bill Pearl is 83 years old, soon to be 84. Frank Zane turned 72 years old last month.

ok, but the question is why
Why what? Why keep on living?
I guess that depends on whether one feels they have something to live for and if they are enjoying their life. Personally, retirement is great. I plan to suck every last penny out of my retirement income for as long as possible. There is nothing quite like getting up in the morning and deciding what you want to do with the day, because what you do is entirely up to you and not dictated by work or school or taking the kids to soccer, etc.
