Melvin Anthony claims his waist is 27inches come contest time. Really?

Then Brian Buchanan's waist musta' been 24inches.

Anyone else a fan? Any other pics?

His upper-body was simply amazing. Front-to-back, side-to-side was truly a sight to behold.

His wheels were what let him down.

The only other pro - off the top of my head - who could be compared to Brian  Buchanan in the double biceps pose which highlighted his "vacum" was Shawn Ray.

there was a cool ironman cover with him on it where he was made up to look like a statue and the background looked like an art studio, the shot was supposed to look like someone had just finished carving him outta stone, great, great cover.

I never really thought ones waist could be too small but then I saw this guys pics. It draws your eyes to one bodypart(waist) which I believe an ideal physique shouldn't do.

but keep in mind that before Ronnie got wheels, he got his ass kicked too. If Brian had a great lower body, he would have been rewarded as well.

Seriously though, I do agree that Brian's taper reminds me of Melvins more than anyone elses competing today.

Buchanan looks great. That waist of his makes everything else look better.

Of course, the most massive guy I've ever seen with a supremely tapered waist is that other 8-time Mr. Olympia, the "Totalee Awesome" Lee Haney.
