He was at 40% in 2012.   We saw how that one ended, unfortunately. 

Bush was at what, 28%?   He still would have won 48% of the popular vote in 2008 too.

Repubs have no problem whooping dems in elections in 2000 and 2004, and MSNBC was in the business then too.
