Sarah Palin has announced the formation of her own Internet television news channel.
In a Facebook post late Sunday evening, the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee announced the Sarah Palin Channel, an interactive, online network designed as an alternative to mainstream news media.
“This is a news channel that really is a lot more than news,” Palin said in a video introducing the network. “This is a community where we’re going to be able to share ideas and discuss the issues of the day. And we’re going to find solutions.”
The network will cost $9.95 per month or $99.95 annually for subscribers.

I was reading a piece last night, and at the end of it, all of my disdain for her was gone. Sounds like she suffers from a condition called Hypomania.

Probably caused by stimulants and/or female hormone therapy prescribed for what her close friends called her laying in bed all afternoon (2006/2007) watching tv court shows, just part of aging, the way the body breaks down a bit. She got good medical coverage, she was probably given something for slumping energy levels (adderall probably) and HRT for the usual aging, plus the birth thing... her 5th? hugely ages the body.
Hypomania (literally, “below mania”) is a mood state characterized by persistent disinhibition and pervasive elevated (euphoric) or irritable mood, as well as thoughts and behaviors that are consistent with such a mood state. It is most often associated with the bipolar spectrum. Many who are in a hypomanic state are extremely energetic, talkative, and confident. They may have a flight of ideas and feel creative. Many people also experience signature hypersexuality. While hypomania often generates productivity and creativity, it can become troublesome if the subject engages in risky behaviors. It is generally less severe than full mania.
This explains how she went from consistent hard worker to the erratic stuff we've seen. The timeline fits perfectly with the sealed sexual allegations, her insane zeal and energy on the campaign trail... and now it fits her erratic speech, to a tee.
I no longer listen to her talk and say she's everything wrong with the pompous, venemous side of the GOP. I see a person like my own mom actually, dealing with sagging hormone levels as she ages, and other relatives, dealing with the high end anxious/erratic nature from stimulants like Adderall. She loves America, she wants the USA to be #1 in the world. The rude, rambling, erratic... I totally see hypomania as the cause, and I think of those around me with the same symptoms. Changed my outlook on her completely, to be honest. I'm not going to be a dick about Palin anymore. I hope she is able to see videos like this, in a clearer moment, and realize it's time to back off whatever stimulants are causing the aberrant state - and it CAN be corrected. I hope she can do that. Really sad to see this.

She's not an idiot. Rather, according to this theory, she is experiencing side effects of her medication.
A stimulant would explain her really jumpy nature. She wasn't like that in the 2006 Gov debate. She was calm. In this video, she's very jumpy, moving from several topics in a single sentence. Unfocused. Agitated. Disconnected from the world around here, where most people would be embarrassed to use wording like that.
She goes from euphoric to really spiteful every couple of words. That sounds like the hypomania. It's not all-out crazy or all out stupid... it's just that inside her mind, she's experiencing lots of highs, lots of lows, and many ideas are hitting her at once, while at the same time there's a sense of confidence that really goes beyond what she or anyone can do with a single sentence.
I don't think ANYONE can look at that web video and say this person isn't on some sort of medication. I don't think anyone can look at this video and say this person is the same Palin, mentally, that was pretty smooth in 2006 gov debates.
I think it's a stimulant and HRT. She had a baby and she's nearing 50 and she lives a high stress lifestyle. I don't see crazy and I don't see stupid. I see tortured, medicated and being asked to do things she isn't capable of doing.

I don't think she's an idiot. Look at her face in that video feed. She's suffering, man. She really looks like someone trying her best but limited in some capacity - and she was NOT limited like this in the 2006 video. And this is AFTER she's had all the public speaking practice, training, and time to go over what she would say in this webcast.
I really think - medically induced - she is suffering from something here. She's not yet 50 and she's talking like a drunk 70 year old. She held her own in a debate in 2008... imagine her debating in that state right there?
Something has happened since she left politics. My guess is meds... some combo of anti-depressants (she and todd seen without rings at times, who knows there) + stimulants (adderall? look at how hyper she is, can't stop face from moving) + Hormone work, as she is aging, using the wig, etc.
Nobody deteriorates that much from age 44 to 50, without serious medical issues or medicine side effects :(
