It's an odd thing for Jackson Lee to say, because it was just six years ago that she helped lead a movement to impeach Bush by co-sponsoring a bill accusing him of high crimes and misdemeanors.

We're acting like, when we rolled out of bed this morning, anyone here thought to themselves, "Ya know, self, I really give a lot of credit to Rep. Jackson Lee for being one of the brightest people in Congress. Honest, respectable, and above all, completely in touch with reality!"
However, if anything, I think your article has raised my opinion of this congress member, as I didn't think she was capable of stringing together 3 sentences without mumbling or trailing off into a tea party bash, or spending $3 trillion dollars.
That being said, she is a staunch proponent of locking down the border in such a way that Marco Rubio would cry himself to sleep in Jeb Bush's arms. So she's not all bad.
