Title: Skorp's 5 Months Transformation
Post by: Skorp1o on August 04, 2014, 09:20:49 AM
End of last year I had something's going on, some work I had to finish on which my partnership promotion depended on and other things meant I had no time to train, with this comes the diet and all the other bad habit, came off everything off course. Before I knew I looked like a normal office worker.

March came and I kick started the process of getting back into shape. Would have done much better if I had more time to train and rest, most weeks I only managed two training sessions a week and diet is hit n miss.

Since the G&O is pretty much just gimmicks now, we have our own forum now. Simple and Bigmc have kept them at bay in here which is nice.

UK forum is Bigmc's creation

Good pec genetics Skorp.....how did you build them in the first place? Did you hammer them a few times a week with a particular routine? Any advice appreciated.

When flexed my chest thickness is even from top to bottom.I always started with incline, I am prone to have over hanging pecs, hence why and also why I rarely do decline, but if yourpecs look flat, I'd definely recommend adding them.

I then move on to flat and finish off with cross overs, this is what I have always done. The pressing movements vary from smith to free bar to dumbells for either variation of incline/flat, I try and mix it up i.e. if this week I did smith incline, flat dumbbell, next week I'd do incline dumbbell, smith flat...etc. I never do less than 12 sets in total and sometimes do 16. I always finish with cross overs. I also never do less than 8 reps for my heaviest set, I find 10 reps is the magic number for failure.

I know some people argue the effectiveness of incline/decline variations, but for me it works. When done with inline I see a more pronounced pump and burn feeling on my upper pecs and so on and so forth.

Oh and one last thing, Gyno is a big nono...you can have the best pecs ever, striation, thickness splits...etc but one tad bit of gyno ruins the whole thing  :)

Yeah, even in the before pic he still looked better than 95% of the male population. The after pic puts him in the very top percentage.

I could have kept the bf a little lower, although I am not a big junk food eater, I'm not sure a latte and a croissant pass a good breakfast.

In this transformation i.e. the past 5 months...I've done no cardio. Just ate clean, and dropped the carbs.

Thank you....I appreciate the detailed response. Your pecs are better than mine and I have worked hard on mine.
ps obviously no gyno....have you been taking preventative measures or never needed to?

As I got older I found that one shot of test and one shot of mast was all I needed to maintain the physique I needed 210lbs sub 8/9%, with that cycle I found my oestrogen levels remain low and in check, when I drop the mast I would take Var or Winny neither of which causes me any issues. I always have Nolva at home but I never take it.

So with the dosages and the compound choices, gyno was never an issue for me.

I totally come off for about half a year, even quit weight lifting more or less and focus on cardio. Planning a couple of Triathlons early next year which will need a few months training before hand, can't be on more than real TRT (200mg two weeks) as getting a huge pump in your calves 3 minutes into a 10k run is not going to end well. Last year my TRT was in the form of HCG, then clomid.

I firmly believe chest shape is genetic and declines will do nothing to change that.

Hi scorp,

hows the training going?

Training is going very well, I stopped taking anything hence I feel much better overall. I stopped dieting as such i.e. watching carbs and skipping meals...etc eating normal now hence the water and a bit of fat creeped up but I don't mind, as I'm still better than my starting point. Will decide what to do next after my holiday this weekend.

I have an old (8-9 years) Tag link that I wear to the gym - solid watch and not worried about extra scratches as it's no longer a dress watch

Tag's don't hold their value unlike Rolex's so my advice to anyone, if you buy one buy it cos you like it. They are very robust and reliable watches, this model is great for holidays as I tend to mountain bike and dive a lot...etc, it's always there ticking.

Saphire crystal screen so despite all the knocks it doesn't have a single scratch, just some light scratching on the steel so far.

Yes, the lego look did it for me.  :P

Don't give a shite who made it, I just order it through AliExpress or Sammydress. Quality is second to all: even on delivery one button does not work, and two others have their labels mixed up. But I like the look of it, and for less than $5 including shipping I don't give a toss. I'd waste more money trying to get a cheap normal-looking watch from a carnival grappler machine. :D

When I was young the first calculator watches came out. Obviously had one of those too. Utterly impractical, but I felt like Buck Rogers!

Ordered a few more gimmicky watches, will show when they arrive. ;D
