In case you’re at work, here is the transcript of their brief “conversation”:

    Border Patrol agent: How you doing, U.S. Border Patrol. How many people on board?

    Travis Pope: Me.

    BP agent: U.S. citizen?

    Pope: Yeah, but does it really matter?

    BP agent: Not anymore, unfortunately. Thank you.

No wonder morale is reportedly at an all-time low among our Customs and Border Patrol and ICE agents.

i have to go through a few check points like that when I go to and from the land I hunt on. Im guessing it may be b/c they are in the commercial trucking line but generally those guys have no fucking sense of humor.

They people I hunt with are hispanic and I look somewhat hispanic and we make sure not to make any smart ass comments when going through those check points lol.

Hopefully he doesnt get reprimanded for that

They can set up check points up to 100 miles from the boarder I believe? That 100 mile zone is a fourth amendment free zone. That's the entire state of Florida...
