Title: Anaerobic Energy System Question
Post by: Thin Lizzy on August 07, 2014, 12:09:49 PM
If the system doesn't use oxygen, why are we winded after a hard set of squats?

Is it because Oxygen is required to remove the lactic acid* buildup?

* From what I've been reading, lately, it's not Lactic Acid, but Hydrogen Ions which cause the acidity.

All acids release hydrogen ions.
