No...the movie didn't suck, it was just not the right time to do it. It was Marvel's first movie since 1944 and a lot of stuff they were doing such as computer animation was barely perfected.

Much like the movie UHF and Hamburger the Motion Picture....it was misunderstood which is why its a cult classic

90% of major studio releases are utter.shit

I took my daughter to see it, her choice..and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't perfect... a bit too "noble" at times, but good overall

Agree. Even went back and saw it on the IMAX. No real weak moments. Solid flick. I think the initial poor reviews will be re-assessed. Bautista was a hoot.

Bautista's return to WWE was to soon, it should have been closer to movie release and he should have returned with an axe to grind w/HHH. BUT, OH WELL, vince ain't doing what he "should".

Some are saying it was better than the Avengers. That's ridiculous.

Interesting is that the "Howard the Duck" film was produced by Lucasfilm based on a Marvel comic book. Disney now owns both Lucasfilm and Marvel Entertainment.
