There must be some element of skill in what he did. How he was tossed up in the air is out of his control but to hold the landing and stay on top for even a few seconds must have taken some control on his part.

The car looks like it did indicate it was switching lanes. The motorcyclist clearly didn't notice and thought he could squeeze through the car with the dashcam and the one switching lanes.
