Franco he's far more ripped and freaky even if he does have some gyno he's much sharper than danny is you guys are nuts.

Franco had horrible gyno that year, but Platz looks the best there to be honest. Not taking anything away from Danny.

Wow....I can't believe how platz legs r supposed to be the best ever but from the rear if I compare his hams in the pic above to the new guys like say heath or kai in the same relaxed pose there hams look bigger and more complete. Strange

All those claiming that Tom Platz was only upper body just have to look at these pics. His arms and chest DESTROYED Franco's in 1980. Platz truly was in AMAZING shape in 1981. The best of his career. He and Padilla were light years better than Franco that year.

Actually, I preferred Platz as well in 1981 but would have been happy if Danny took it. But Franco? The life long Sardinian
side kick to Arnold -- no way! Not even close. Maybe the 1976 version but he was never the same after the leg injury.

its very hard to find a weak spot on padilla,franco looked like he was very blocky in alot of poses.where danny looked like a a artist sculpted out a beautiful statue of a perfectly developed human being,no disrespect to franco,he was a beast also n will always be remembered for that lat spread from hell :o

He said that more than once in interviews. The only one I can cite right now is the fantastic interview he did with David Young in the March 2004 issue of IronMan. He said he was over 200lbs for that Night of The Champions.
I've seen him in person on the street in Manhattan. I really believe 5'2" is overly generous.
