Title: Rob Lopez: Might win the 2006 USA Heavyweight

Rob Lopez looks like he might win the heavyweight class at the USA. Last year Faramarz Aghazadeh, Jonathan Rowe, Grigori Atoyan, Adorthus Cherry, and  David Robles  were the top 5 in the class.
Any comments?

Every year we hear the Rob Lopez hype machine kick into gear and every year we watch the Rob Lopez disappointment that reveals himself onstage as an overrated Flex Wheeler wannabe.  The shows he's won has been because of his close friendships with the judges. Fortunately some judges have enough integrity to judge him on the merits, which is why he will never win his pro card.  Besides, he's 38 years old and on the downward slide. 11th at the Nationals isn't really worth talking about, is it SeanBigSeanBig?

i may be totally wrong but i thought i read or heard somewhere that he stopped using gear. any truth to this?

Yes I stopped using gear, just use turntables & CD players & samplers & Serato scratch live, my new secret to a award winning physique!!! I LOVE THIS BOARD!!!

I remember watching BFTO 02 with you and Kamali.  King said if he placed top 4 I think that you had to treat him to McDonald's for a year.  He placed 17th.  Did he treat you to anything?
