We might want to transform the conversation into something with a bit more attraction...

Where exactly do you "learn and study" Marty??? LOL -  and what exactly do you think you will DO with all of your copy and paste knowledge??? You figure that talking about it on a bodybuilding board is extremely important right???  The sad thing is that I honestly believe that you truly think you are intelligent. I have run into dope heads like you that don't actually DO shit - but in their pathetic minds they solve all the worlds problems...

This discussion need not anchor around such negativity. We have an accumulative beacon of knowledge to be each others conduits for. On a tangential note,
I just busted a continuous load all over my circuit board and the depth of discharge had so much electromotive force that they will talk of the cum

If we spread throughout the solar system over the next century, including to the smaller gas giants to acquire He3, to those colonists living in the outer system, the Sun will be of less importance than it is to those of us crowding around it. progression into interstellar space would be a comparatively small step.

If such an outward expansion is carried out by the inhabitants of O'Neill colonies using some form of fusion propulsion, voyage speeds of 0.002c are probably more likely than 0.1c, Using Dani's figure of  0.15 light years average separation gives an average voyage duration of  75 years.

I find it hard to imagine O'Neill colonies propelled by fusion rockets with tanks containing more than a fraction of the colonies own mass, and with an exhaust velocity of 0.04c and a propellant mass ratio of 1.10, you get a delta v of 0.004c - half to accelerate, half to decelerate.

Yes, but each of us should believe we are the most important drop.

our best 1st chance at 1st contact would be a radio transmission but not even 1 percent can tell you how a radio works, thus we have very few amount of people that could maybe even know how to send signals, and these people are probably too busy to do just that because they are working at a job that may have nothing to do with it
