That's horrible! There are lots of great pilots that died. Ronnie Peterson etc.etc.

That wasn't a minor crash Senna had. Even a Hans Device can't stop the fucking axle from going through your skull or hitting a concrete wall at over 150mph

It was too a minor crash. He skimmed the wall at a very mild angle. If not for the completely freak occurrence of i believe the steering wheel column going into his chest he would have instantly jumped out of that car completely unscathed.

The impact did not kill Senna. An equipment malfunction occurred sending the right tire assembly through his helmet for shit sake...those cars and safety equipment are meant to be safe in MUCH worse crashes than Senna's.

He hit the damn wall at a very wide angle..not head on. More like side swiped. Guys crash like that daily in racing and they do not even have a bruise.
