bumps up the metabolic rate for the whole day too.

Fasted cardio is same as any cardio when body is running on empty. Makes sense logically, If I had the time I'd do it a lot more often.
-
what pisses me off
the last at least 10 years "science based" gurus are trying to convince the public that "high intensity interval" cardio is best, because it increases metabolic rate for the rest of the day
yet the pros are all doing low intensity cardio
and for good reason if you ask me, low intensity cardio is where the health benefits lie, is it not true?
if you're going to do "HIIT" cardio might as well do circuit training on the weights
wtf is this shit they are trying to shove down our throat HIIT this HIIT that
fucking PISSES ME OFFFF

yes that annoys me too.

I'd imagine, that scientific proofs aside, most professional bodybuilders would avoid high intensity cardio as they're carrying too much size.
Low intensity = effective, safer for the big guys.

low intensity cardio helps diminish the long teerm effects of adrenaline (associated with high intensity training) on the heart
at least a bro scientist on the internet claimed so

I could never get away with low low intensity cardio, id have to make it difficult as id be too bored to be able to keep on it...
Fasted works much better from my experience, but any is better than none if course..
My approach to this is to have a mix if the 2.. If I do 30 mins I'll do a full out sprint for 45 secs, every 5 mins, or id increase the level every 5 mins etc etc
