Title: the real reason recent england team is struggling
Post by: local hero on September 09, 2014, 10:51:58 AM
It occurred to me the other night.... Imo there's been 4 good teams, 66 winners... 86 , 90  and 96.... Now what did these teams all have in common?

They all had dynamic geordie/northerners... Charltons, Brian Robson, gazza and shearer.... I feel until we unearth another geordie gem, were doomed.....

Shearer and Robson weren't on newcastles books as kids... You southerners need to bring a few down

We need Cheryl Cole to give prematch BJ's

They would need to install a park bench and a whip round from the players for 2ltr of white lightning...

Cheryl was a notorious cider rider....

Chambers
Gibbs
Wilshire
Walcott
Chamberlain
Welbeck

It's obvious that Arsenal hold the key to England's future. 8)

I think its a make or brake season for him, he, s going to be the main man till christmass with giroud out.... I think he'll score goals given the chance to  play through the middle

Aresenal and liverpool more or less round the england team off...

His scoring record when played as a CF is pretty good. He's one of those players who can be brilliant or infuriating - even at the same time. ;D

One thing I like about him is that he offers movement and pace up front that we lack when Giroud plays. He also runs his socks off and has a great attitude.

Ross Berkley could be the man.

Yeh I agree, he won't get to play his best position for a while tho, roomy and sterling are ahead of him at the moment.... I like sterling, I don't think he's as good as they are hyping him to be tho
