Sure you did ::)
So did Epic_Asswipe.
he felt the need to revert back to grade school last night and tell me he was "faster" than me ::) hahahahahaaa
-
Were you a club runner then?
No, I played Rugby League, I wasnt interested in athletics.
-
This is about when all the getbiggers come out of the wood work and claim they were timed in the 40 yard dash in high school faster than most of the first round draft choices going into the NFL.

I will break the trend and say that if I ran a 100m today, you'd have to time me on a calendar.
-
Running is for fags anyway... at 15 I threw the discus 40m without a spin, thats more bodybuilding related imo

I will give any young getbigger 'yards for years' over 100metres today and still beat them.

Lol, I remember a guy at school with me when we were doing the javelin trials.
We had to get a qualifying distance to go forward to the town trials, I was shit and didnt qualify.
Guy in question didnt even take a run up, he just stood on the line and threw it at least 10 yards past the qualifying distance.
He never went onto the trials, he couldnt be arsed with it.
-
I went to the trials and was beaten by a kid by a meter or so doing the spin... was ok at javelin, couldntget away with the shot.
Would be fun to have agym sports day to see what we could all do whilest juiced, probly all end up severely injured afterwards

The point Im making is that just because someone is good at something doesn't make them want to take it up as a career.
I was a fast sprinter but I didnt like athletics, I liked contact sports and group baths (no homo)
Everyone jumps on people here who make claims of good times and achievements and pooh pooh them because they didn't get times recorded.

13.6 seconds when I was a kid.

13.3s @ 15
4.98 40y @ 28
-
9:59
could do better but didn't feel like having the media attention
-
I was a very athletic jock in high school big and strong and fast, at 15 I was benching 225 pounds for reps and I was the strongest guy on the wresting team, I did 11.50 which is pretty good for a big muscular dude.
-
flinstones did a 10.4 in HS I believe.
-
usually do about 10s flat on leg day for cool down after 800lb squat
-
I was a long distance runner, my sprints blew, which is strange since I had the best vertical leap in my year at school, which is an indication of a good amount of fast twitch fibres.
-

FAT or hand time?
-

No idea.
-
FAT or hand time?
stop watch hand timed running on ash track at training ground
-
I played as a flanker for my school and college rugby team. I wasn't even that quick though but "read" the sport quite well.
Don't have a clue how fast I was at 100m. Probably in the 13's I'd guess at my best.
-
OK lets do it, deal?

Add .24 on always for hand times, but still on an ash track (I'm assuming cinder??) not too bad for a non-track person. Sounds you def have some jets.
-
yep 10.02 a couple weeks back but that was from a standing start , with proper starting blocks would obviously be somewhat quicker

You run 10.02 100 meters from a standstill?? When are you racing Bolt next?
-
So that's a no again. Nevermind.
I don't mind losing, that's the difference.
Change that to "I'm used to losing" and you will be accurate.

<<<< guess you missed the sprinter's legs bro
-
Not sure about his sprint timing but this guy hurled the discus almost 200 feet.

I see your legs, nice but apparently you meant yards and not meters.
I'm a woman by the way :-*

Are you seriously saying you run 100 meters in 10.02 seconds without bullshit?
well there was quite a lot of tailwind that day 8)

Ooooo so if I say, "F.A.T." you know what I mean. 8)
& I think I ran a 31 or something for 200m. 2:29 for 800m
When I was in elementary school, I ran the mile in 12min. I felt so embarrassed that the next year, I ran laps around the playground to get in shape for it :P

Yep. Not bad for your 800 in HS. No comment on that 2. :-X :D

I ran a 10.5 to finish off my road run this afternoon. I pulled up to throw a hump in a dime-piece jogging bunny over the last 30 meters (I handle my business quickly) otherwise I think I could have broken 10.

I know my 800 number is accurate. My 200 number is just a guess, it was 29-32 I think. My 400 was 68 its best....so can 31 be realistic for a 200m based off of my 400 time?
-
can hit about 20 flat in the 2 hundo
ask the trainer he was there

Could be, most people in HS are quite a bit faster in their first 2 as opposed to their 2nd 200 or until they get stronger and learn how to run the 4. 28-31 could be accurate. It seems you were better in the middle distances races, not bad at all in the 800 actually.

Haha, I actually ran a lot of negative splits, I was strategic ;)
What did you run?
-
I'm fairly certain running 100 meters is impossible.
-
Shizzo did it once in 8 seconds when he saw from 100m away that the Liquor store lights were slowly going out.
