Phil's condition gets worse ever year.
It's shocking how poor he looks this year compared to even two years ago.
-
:)
-
Advanced onset of very aggressive Palumboism.
Worst pageant yet.
-
Wow, the baloon is about to POPP!
-
Back to the ab store, he needs to go. Return the ab gifts.
Ronnie had something like this going on.
-
Looking back in history tell u one thing, there is no meaning for him to continue competing, u cant look better when the paulobonism have started! Just quit! QUIT! No way back!
-
The general consensus has always been that Phil is unbeatable - Very capable of winning 6, 8 or 10 Olympia titles, as long as he avoids injury.
Do people still feel this way? Or seeing him outclassed by Kai on both conditioning (By a small amount) and overall muscle (by a great amount), is this still the case?
Is it possible that Phil's just hit the natural ceiling of his bodybuilding potential? Kai spent probably a DECADE in the natural bodybuilding world, getting every bit of muscle out of his potential, before he got on the super supplements... We all know Phil went from first show to winning pro card in what, less than 2 years?

Guess thats what happens when you jump straight to a Mr. O stack.
I mean, we all watched Ronnie regress, Jay, Branch.... something these guys are doing at this level blows them up and then very quickly starts tearing them down...
Phil skipped the whole part where he learned his body, skipped building muscle with only food and basic gear,
he jumped straight to the regression stack.
The candle that burns twice as bright, burns out twice as fast.
-
There is only one person who is succesfully defeating palumboism. KAI GREENE
2011->2012
2013->2014
Poor phil should ask him.

Poor dude. Retirement is going to be tough for him.

This.

Starting to look like Branch Warren, with added Palumboism...
-
rofl, considering phil is taking his time off and still palumboism is in da house. if he competed more often he would be now total wreck. Kid is all drugs and his body is already crying for help.

No way. Not going to happen.
-
Too much Growtein.
-
You can
tell 12 weeks out how small he was and that he probably was going to double the dose of everything leading up to the show to play catch up. The amount of shit he must pump into his body in such a short time is probably unheard of.
-
Ronnie stayed bright longer then most tho.
Yes, but he was the 1st to discover the 'make you a monster then roull atrophy and smooth out' stack, right at the end of his career.

this is not mr o, wtf is up with his obliques

P.I.P

never going to come close to this again.

Kai was a natural competitor for a decade. He MAXIMIZED his potential, naturally.
Phil went from shooting hoops to winning a pro card in what, 18 months?
There's just no comparison there. We all know the "ceiling" that forms, as soon as someone starts using. At the very top levels, we see it now... Phil's been running the Jay Cutler "all-out" stack for almost a decade now... it's going to affect him, just like eveyrone else.
Throw in the stress that comes from starting a business - in the supp industry - and palumboism is going to accelerate.
I'm going to be the first to say it - I predict Phil will "take a break to focus on business" after ekeing out a win. He'll preserve his legacy by not getting 3rd next year. He'll make a killing in the supp game, and keep his health too. We'll never see Phil with full-blown palumboism. He's too smart for that, he refuses to do anything he can't be #1 at.

Why does he need to break his back on conditioning? He's going to win anyway.

Too much relying on rambutt not enough in the gym
-
Phis is quite possibly turning into the WORST looking mr. O of all time, hard to say between him and Gutler. What a horrible mess this show is.
-
i really wonder if the winner is predetermined what the hell would they do if phil was in the same shape as a worst kovaks or palumbo condition, would they run with that or think shit we really can't give him this.
Right now he clearly doesn't deserve it so how far would they push the integrity
-
Haha I knew that this insecure diva was all drugs. But I didn't expect him to look like $ht so quickly. Unfortunately he will still win, they will never handed it to Kai. And as much as I dislike Phil I think he can still be Mr O the next 3 years. He may be off this year but will learn from his mistakes.
-
The Mr. O is now presenting its worst-ever lineup of competitors.
Heath's only gift is his quick response to mountains of gear. But that quickness also extends to his advance towards Palumboism and absolute ruin.
What a joke.
-
where did his delts go
he is actually starting to get palumboism
even in the head. it's not a good thing
-
But yet I see peaople saying Phil is more conditioned than kai......
If they give it to Phil again this year that would be a travesty

the O isnt about training your ass off anymore. and dieting your ass off anymore. its 100% chemical and thats why these guys look like shit.
its not going to get better next year, or the year after. only worse.

Perfect summary of the current bb situation... But hey, when we say that the 70s, 80s and early 90s were so much better is because we are delusional and nostalgic... ::)

The good thing is, it is reversible. (the distention)
Whether it's organ growth or visceral fat.
A history to distention and back.
Kai 2009 post ASC and 2010 ASC
-
What the heck happened to him? ???
How can there be such a difference in one year?
His waist is clearly bigger and ballooning out the sides, abs are gone and his delts are smaller.

After lee Haney won 8 straight every time there's a new champ "the general consensus" says exact same thing I remember when Dorian won his 3rd in 94' (20years ago) he was very capable to win 8 or 10.
WoooSSSHHHH PALUMBOISM
-
After 2010 Arnold then to 2012 Olympia.
George has kept Kai's gut pretty flat until last year unlike Oscar
who's protocols are known for getting people huge and a gut.
Now isn't this 1st picture Bob Paris like. :)

Kai is the new champ in town ....
I hope they dont do the same 1981 Mr.O joke all over, they don't have to really.
WooOSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Cool whomever made this.
You can see the progression.
They show more opened up big.
His abs in 2011 really ad to his FDB and FLS poses.
I watched the 1st Colorado show Phil won the other day
and he started with a good set of abs. A full 6 pack.
-
When they talk about aesthetic, cartoonish muscles
this is the Gold Standard. The Sultan of Symmetry.

Maybe Phil is just constipated? That would explain the ever worsening "abs" and awkward facial expressions...

Serious polumboism.
Poor bastard, in one year he went 180* the other way. Holy shit.
-
His head is also getting better... just like Ronnie's did.
-
What about the issue of age? Heath is going to be 35 at Christmas. He can still do 25 rep crunches, but at 35, he's not going to get the same result as he did at 25, or maybe 30.
-
Gifted nutrition will take your abs from u. Go out and buy some.
