My theory on calves is to train them super heavy 6 to 8 reps if they are lagging, do you notice that big fat dudes have really big calves to carry their fat, well put your calves under heavy weight twice weekly and force it to grow.

How the fuck is that heavy weight and low volume? 6-8 reps of what? walking? that's way more then fucking 6-8 reps.

My girlfriend has killer diamond shaped calves, of which I am envious, and never did a damn thing to get them that way.
As far as Dennis is concerned though, it doesn't matter, since balance and proportion are not judging criteria currently in today's thong pageants... ;)

Yes. His right one still has some size and shape. But something is seriously wrong with his left calf. Nerve damage? Who knows, but I would really like to know before the day ends.

Yeah, probably nerval damage due to site injections over and over again. Wolf once said because of that he stopped training his right calf completely as it would look even more ridicolous and uneven if one calf was more developed than the other.

I have shitty shitty calves, exacerbated by good quads but keep chipping away at getting them to grow.
I console myself by saying most people with naturally good calves are fat. Kind of like how a fat girl says "at least I have tits" when she sees a model.

His physique lacks balance - calves, lower back etc- but compared to the bloated eggs on legs surrounding him he placed about right. Conditioning best of the big guys.

dennis was overheard saying he was bit by a bull shark as a kid and it destroyed his calf muscles pretty bad,he was also bit on rear buttock muscle but its not noticeable anymore as the scar faded,could be bullshit though

I had horrible ankle injury when 17. Tore achilles, broke bone all the way through (ie separated bones), tore calf muscles and ligaments. Still get pain or swollen ankle odd time when I walk long distances and think it has affected calf development.

I am year out from my surgery for my ruptured achilles tendon. My left calf is still 1/2" smaller than my right, and the right is pitiful in its own right.

Wolf looked excellent as an amateur and the first 2-3 pro years. The size game was not good for him.

I was due to have surgery but they decided against it while I was in bed fasting. Just pushed bones back and tried new cast (old one made bones go further apart and gave me blood poisoning - feet were purple). September 11th 2001.

Yup, he did look good back then. Even his calves were passable. He fucked himself up though, just like the rest of them. Even Branch looked good once upon a time...
