Title: Phil Heath essentially won by default
Post by: El Diablo Blanco on September 21, 2014, 02:37:28 PM
Whith the entire lineup looks like bags of smooth oil and shit Heath will just keep winning.  As reigning champ he'll get the nod when he barely outshits the shits on stage.

Yes.   The reason everyone is so outraged is due to his personality and his inability to stand where he is supposed to stand.  Moving fwd, moving closer as it suits him.   There are only a few rules in BBing, and "getting in kai's way by moving 2 feet to the other side" breaks one of them.

Along with other top guys from that era that are not in that pic... Kevin Levrone, Michael Francois, Aaron Baker, Vince Taylor

Also, Priest, Yates, Dillet, Sarcev, etc. And if you push it back to the early 90's, throw in Sonny Schmidt, Porter Cottrell, Ron Love, Haney. Now I am not saying every single one of these bodybuilders is better than Phil. However, the amount of quality bodybuilders that he'd have to get through before being number 1 is a lot greater than today.

Phil Heath would not even be in the top 6.
