hormonized but great body nonetheless .. liked his movies

I don't think he was hormonized. He got leaner as he got older but his body never changed through the years.

Yes he had a good boxers physique.

I remember watching his movies at grandmothers house when I was very young. I liked how he killed people.
-
I loved his Death Wish Movies!! I remember wishing I had a VCR to record when the thugs broke in and gang banged Rosario!!!

i think due to his shit genetics he needs to feel that anyone who looks remotely better than him is 'hormonized'.

This isnt a slight at cleanest natural, but its gotten to the point today that people think any hint of muscularity equals drugs. Rather lame to see.

you can tell the guy trained his ass off. look how lean his face is. he knew how to train. knew how to eat. the guy lived the lifestyle. i agree that too many people yell drugs! when they see a guy in awesome shape like bronson was- and those are grainy pics. he prollly looked even more impressive irl. im sure that must have been from cadaver gh tho... ::)
it speaks more about how much we've become a nation of lazy trainers/ dieters more than how everyone is 'on' these days.

lol yessir.

Bronson used to basically just starve himself to look lean. May have lead to his alzheimers later in life?
-
Good call! One of my all time favorites. Bronson was always in shape.
I always thought that he was the first real action hero with his build. My favorite movie of his is: "Hard Times"
It has James Coburn in it and of course his late wife Jill Ireland.
He plays a tough Street fighter during the great depression.

Always in shape = Drugs? No hunger? Iggy Pop was a lean sucker haha. Same with Rolling stones old farth!
Very nice natural body!
-
Very Rugged looking guy. I read he liked doing rope climbing and loads of push ups. I think he did as a young guy weight train.
-
Hard Times, one of my favorite movies. Bronson was the man.
-
I loved his Death Wish Movies!!
He was practically worshiped here in Queensland.

McGrath jaw muscles of peace

One of the coolest actors of all time.
Only downside was that even at 19 he looked 40... similar to Clit Eastwood.
-
I remember an advertisement in old muscle magazines listing all the Hoolywood stars that Vince Gironda used to train....Charles was one of them...
-

I understand your point completely, but what do you think is the main source of this - lazy people, or the fact so many hollywood actors undergo massive changes in physique only to look completely normal post production?
I train all the time. But my knee jerk reaction to seeing actors change their bodies is always drugs first.

X2
I think almost all actors use drugs when playing a role of a muscular/athletic character even if the end result is a physique that could be obtained naturally.
I think Bronson though was natural as he seemed like someone who liked to stay in shape as opposed to someone who just trained for certain roles.

He trained at Vince Gironda's gym. That meant he probably trained with light weights with 30 second rests or less between sets for the burn. I think he was a heavy smoker though.

Interesting - he had pretty "wise" skin... I remember a western where he plays an red American and although he's maybe in his 40ies his face looks like the Rocky Mountains in some shots.
Rough to the core - it was one of the factors that made him special.
-
I can remember watching the great escape when I was young. He was the tunnel rat and was impressed with how his arms looked pulling himself around on the rail cart. Two other good movies of his is Once Upon a Time in the West and Death Hunt with Lee Marvin. great survivalist movie.
-
Rugged physique, lean and muscular... Some have it easier, Iggy Pop was also a super lean guy, Harvey Keitel was another...
-
;D wasn't a great actor but was definitely a screen presence

A true American Hero. He knew how to deal with criminals.

Where is this natural build you speak of?

That's a good point. There was no boom and bust physique that changed between films.

Amazing that nobody has caught on to this yet but it's actually Charles Brawnson.

Bernardo O'Reilly died saving the kids :'(
-
Natural or not he has that thin skin that modern pros lack. That certain texture that looks good and in the realm of attainability.
-
He was strong as fuck too, did all his own stunts. Read a story where he was filming a stunt on a train and he was hanging off the side and one hand slipped off, no problem he pulled himself up with one hand.
-
tough ass Pollack..
I reckon off screen he could handle himself. I also don't think he took any drugs. Trained and ate moderat. Still like his old films.

he impressed no less than jimmy brown the great nfl er when they were filming the dirty dozen, when brown said he saw him jump over a volkswagon bug from a standing still position.

The Mechanic from 1972... great movie.

Yes, forgot about him...
-
I liked him in Adieu l'ami, Farewell Friend (1968) with Alain Delon. They were real life friends too.
I think not many American know this movie, since it's a French/Italian production. Great buddy, heist movie.
