Title: JJ Watt Off-Season Workout
Post by: 240 is Back on October 09, 2014, 06:26:56 PM
Everyone keeps talking about how hard this guy works in the off-season.   Flipping tires?   Powerlifting?  What's his routine?  Lifetime natty?

Bodybuilding related due to training.  Not sure if Pro football players have schmoes or not.

Right now, he's a legit league MVP a candidate. On defense!

This guy could go down as one of the best defensive players ever. He is everything they hype him up to be and some.

No doubt. Gotta love high motor/blue collar white guys on defense. Luke Kuechly is another one that has always impressed me. This video shows how smart and instinctive he is.

That seems like a post for attention.  Like saying "look at how out-of-touch I am and how irrelevant I think football is"

Why even post it?

Why am I even acknowledging it?  Are you trolling me and I don't even realize?

Yes that's fine but you didn't comment on him.

I usually save opinions for matters I have knowledge of.

If I'm unaware or don't care I simply don't post or just move along

anyone else feel bad for watt? the guy plays his heart out every down. only to watch his offense turn the ball over twice w legit shots to win the game.

how do you go home and not be pissed off. arguably the most dominant defensive player since ray Lewis, finally has an anchor at DE to play with, and a QB who couldn't manage the overnight shift at a gas bar.

Fitzgerald needs to shave that fucking retarded beard off as well.

Ask my son. He's a safety and averages 9 tackles a game. He DLine sucks. Last game he had 10 tackles and 7 solos. He's pissed every game.

As a safety he should be coming up to the line and laying the hat.

Cowboys had a chance to get watt but went with Tyron smith from USC which I can't blame them since their O line was so horrible. Now demarco Murray can run since their O line is solid

You know this how? The only camps he goes to are SC camps. Admittedly it's tough going against some of these kids that come from the back woods from Alabama and Georgia. But he's a safety and OLB. Three games Max Preps defensive player of the game. League starts tonight. The team sucks though >:(

you sound like a pretty proud pop coach, my boys are 9, 7, and 4 so all there doing is flag for now but next year my oldest will be able to play full contact.  We opted out of full contact peewee , well when I say we I mean my wife , so the compromise was waiting til they were at least 10

I am VERY proud my boy. Before this season he only played Freshman football and before that he played baseball since he was six. Last year he opted out of baseball and just trained then decided when his school got a new coach to play football. This year (his only varsity year and only his second year playing organized football) he's his teams safety. I guess my point is I wish he (as does he) would have started earlier like your boys. The hard thing is watching him get injured. Last week was his first week back after being out with a high ankle sprain and tonight was his first league game against a team who's line averages 300lbs of Samoans. Needless to say we lost (that's an understatement) and even with his 7 tackles he's beat to shit with a groin strain and a deep bruised thigh.
