After choosing to face the ebola crisis by traveling to Poland for a trip, Rick Perry has TURNED AROUND and come home, in order to help TX deal with what has become a possible Ebola Outbreak.
I don't know why he left in the first place - one man dies in his state, hundreds are under quarantine... I don't see planning a trip to Ukraine for econmic stimulus... he's a governor and his state is under attack. But he finally made the right move, props to him.
Aside from obama, Perry WILL be the face of Ebola in the states. It's his state, it's crisis mgmt and this is what shows people he's ready to be president. Would love to see him deliver some executive action - partiicularly on locking down these idiot healthcare workers that KNOWINGLY get on a plane with a fever after wiping up vomit and feces from an ebola patient, and knowing she was banned from flying.

lol, it's both. IMO, he is the face of ebola because obama is retiring and he wants to be president. So his actions matter WAY more than obama's. I was shocked to see he is willing to use national guard in symbolic ways to give roadmaps to illegals, but not to, say, lock down the workers who mopped up puke and shit, of course.
He can be a rock star if he's the positive public face of it. If ebola claims more lives here, it's 911, only ten times worse, as you can't see it coming. Perry CAN be the winner out of all of this, politically. Everyone will forget his indictment, arrest if he prevents an outbreak.
First things first, get those TX national guard away from guarding empty building symbolically, and get them guarding a quarantine... from 100 yards away, please!
